Dr. Carlos Piniella, MD

The office staff is nice and PA is nice, too. The doctor is very rude. He ask me about kids allergy situation. When I was not able to finish one sentence, he interrupted me. He seems very angry. This happens every time he asks a question. I am a very soft lady. I used to go to his office because I always see the PA. I stopped going the first time I saw the doctor. The worst doctor experience ever.

I have no issue with Dr Piniella or my visit with him. However this review is my only recourse for the issue with the office staff. These are two separate issues.1) Before I made an appointment, I called and asked Kelsea in the Key West office how much his office would invoice my insurance company for the 1st round of allergy skin tests. She said “about $1300”. My insurance was charged over $1700.2) When I received the invoice from Dr Piniella, the $388 payment I made via credit card was never applied. When I called Kelsea to discuss, she told me I was wrong and was very rude to me. I was correct , Anna from the Miami office (who was very nice) applied the $388 payment.I will not use the services of Dr Piniella again as I do not trust the staff or billing department. This means that I have to start all over again with another Allergist and get the first round of test again. I am very disappointed and I hope you read this review Dr. Piniella.

He was the nicest Dr. I've met. He was comprehensive and made sure everything was okay. He was very understanding and listened. He let me explain how I was feeling without speaking over me. I had an awful cough that went on for days I went to see so many doctors but meeting Dr. Piniella helped me I could finally go out without coughing up a storm.

Upon arrival in Dr. Piniella's office I was greeted by his office staff who were very nice and attentive to all my questions. I was promptly brought into the examination room where Dr. Piniella examined me and answered all my questions. Because of the treatment plan that he placed me on my life is 100% better. My baby has improved a lot since Dr. Carlos treats him, his allergies are very well controlled. He already has a better quality of life. My son and I are very grateful for all his dedication. God bless you

The staff are excellent and professional. I had a constant cough for 4 months and saw a dozen other Docs, Dr Piniella and Ade cured me.

Doctor is very rude and he is an angry men. He ask me questions and disrupt my every sentence when I just start to talk. Forget to send prescription and I have to wait for three days to get prescription. Worst doctor ever in my life. Try every-way to avoid him. His PA is good and staff are nice.

Doctor and staff are awful. AVOID THEM!!

People that work there don’t even tell you if you’re out of network now I have a huge bill

Dr. Piniella was very knowledgable. He was able to diagnose and treat me even with the global pandemic. His staff were very professional and were able to take me in quickly. Everyone was very friendly which made me feel comfortable. You can tell Dr. Piniella cares about his patients. I had an enjoyable time which is rare at a doctors office. Very satisfied!!

Dr Piniella has great people skills. He is extremely well qualified and cares a great deal. He listens well and is great with children. My family and I are grateful for the time he takes with all of us.

Dr Piniella and his staff are the best in the field. Everyone in the office is helpful and incredibly kind. I have recommended him to all my friends and family, everyone who is seen him leaves impressed. It's nice to go to a private practitioner who doesn't have million partners and takes the time to listen.

Based on the review of others, I scheduled an appointment for my husband who suffers from severe food and environment allergies. Dr. seemed okay at first but told him to throw away the SLIT therapy that husband had been taking under care of an Orlando doc -- and take these two RX medications. Husband did for 2 days, then woke up with severe allergy attack. Called office and learned now that this doctor only sees patients on Wednesday - no matter what or how severe the problem. Suffer!!

Dr. Piniella is competent, but his staff is a BAD. I was overbilled hundreds of dollars and refunded only 60. I held off on immunization while I figured out my insurance. By the time I was done, it had been a year, so I call the office of Dr. Piniella to start shots, and they tell me that they can't find the records and to just come by in person. I do that, after taking time off at work they tell me that I need to start all my analysis over again. WASTE OF 2 YEARS AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS

This was my first visit with Dr Piniella , I have already recommended to my friend and have not even reached my car. He and his staff took great care of me and were incredibly thorough. They took the time I needed to help me resolve my problem. I wish all my drs were like this.

Dr Piniella is sharp, insightful, attentive, concerned with getting to the bottom of things. He listens carefully and asks relevant questions. Provide honest, straightforward feedback. Excellent experience!
