A Dr that actually cares.
Dr Martinez & staff couldn't be any better if they tried. He's been treating me for over 15 years now & I'll never trust any Dr more then him. He really truly cares about his patients, their concerns & how to help.He went through some of the same health crisis as I did & really helped get me through my worst nightmare. Thanks Doc! Sincerely, KMF.

I left this practice. So many awful experiences. Dr Martinez is friendly and nice patronizing to me as a woman. I felt he glossed over issues. His second hand person Steve is dismissive and made some off comments to me. The front of house staff seriously are THE nastiest people at an office I have ever encountered. I was actually told that the person who took my concern having. flare up asking for meds That she would refuse to give the Dr my message because I hadn’t abided by her rules. Additionally, over the winter holiday the entire staff was gone for Two weeks during Covid and left a recording saying we are gone leave message we will be back x date no on call Dr nothing. I had gotten Covid and needed to speak to someone. Worst practitioner I have seen in the 10 years I’ve needed Rheumotologists. I honestly need better care by more competent friendly people. There’s a can near front desk in addition that says ashes of problem patients. This would be funny in. normal setting but with this nasty staff it’s just over the top. Shocking that he seems to be so liked by so many in this area.

Extremely capable AND caring
I have never questioned Dr. Martinez’s professional judgment and capability — but what really sets him apart from many doctors in my mind is that he sees me as a PERSON, not just a patient. He listens to everything I have to say or ask, and never dismisses my concerns in ANY way, no matter how minor I may think they are. I wish he and I weren’t so close in age — because I expect he’ll retire at some point and I’ll have to find a new physician. It will be very difficult (if not impossible) for someone else to measure up.

Truly, one of the most caring, compassionate, kind hearted Dr’s we’ve ever met. He is simply “cut from a different cloth” and embraces his patients with everything he’s got in him. He makes you feel like you’re the only one. So grateful for his intelligence and commitment to serve us. His staff is equally committed and gracious. In the midst of a dark journey, Dr Carlos Martinez was a very bright light for us. He led us in the right direction with passion and walked beside us in our journey. He cares deeply. He is a Dr with integrity, one we will always appreciate for how he took care of us! Thank you Dr Martinez, to you, and your team. We love you all.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Martinez’s for close to 4 years now and I wanted to go out of my way to write this review for him. I highly recommend him. He is very caring and treats you with respect. Many doctors that I’ve dealt with (and there have been many) don’t care to form a connection with their patients; they simply want you in and out the door. Dr. Martinez is NOT like that. He takes his time to discuss your situation and listen to your concerns. The same can be said about his RPA, Steve Hodkin, and the entire staff in the building. Steve is just as thorough with his discourse and treatment. The staff is very personable and positive and make you feel welcome. I never have any issues with paperwork either. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this practice!

I went to him for 2 yrs during that time he was doing the wait and see approach after I spent 2 yrs on orencia. He wouldn’t put me back on any meds to control my RA so was suffering with constant flares. His PA wanted to put me a med I had severe reaction to and I refused to take it. That was the final straw I left that practice and found a wonderful dr that actually listens to me.

By far the most intelligent and caring doctor I've ever seen!!!! I went to Dr. Martinez for a second opinion for issues I've been suffering with. He spent a full hour with me going over everything!! I felt so safe and in good hands immediately.... He gave me so much information and finally got the answers I've been searching for, for months! I've never had a doctor who truly cared so much! The only unfortunate thing is he is booked up far but well worth the wait!! Thank you so much.....

Dr Martinez is the best doctor I ever had. He listens to all your problems, then answers them. He even apologized for being late one day. I think it was about 15 minutes late. That'd be the day my other doctors would apologize, and their usually an hour late if not more! I told him I wish he could be my doctor for everything!??

He is a very caring, compassionate Doctor who tries to meet all your needs, some of us have larger arthritus issues like myself, he still can't get meds correct because my case is such a difficult one, it's very frustrating for both he and myself that we can't get my RA under some kind of control.
