Lucky to be alive!
I was advised by the ER at the hospital to be checked out by my cardiologist because of erratic heart episodes; low bp, fainting, dizziness, abnormal EKG's, severe high bp (207/90), etc, After having 3 appts. wherein he stood 6 ' away from me in the doorway next to a sign saying "NO RECORDING DEVICES allowed", he sent a snarky letter to my primary care dr. saying that there was nothing wrong with me, that I was a complainer. My primary advised that I see a better cardilogist in San Antonio and he saved my life. He did the tests that Dr. M-Q should have done and learned that I had FIVE blocked arteries, including the "Widowmaker". I underwent a cardiac cath and five stents were inserted opening up my arteries and saving my life. My blockages were over 70% each. Thanks to my cardiologist in San Antonio, I am alive today. Dr. M-Q should retire. He is NOT BOARD CERTIFIED and his office and testing equipment are really old and I question whether they are maintained and calibrated

This egoist left me sitting in an exam room for three hours, came in and gave me no excuse or apology. Just a terrible person. I needed his ok to have a knee replacement. He never contacted me or the orthopaedic surgeon to give his ok. I got the surgeon's office to track his office down for the ok.

Dr. Martinez is always very thorough, caring and professional. He listens closely to his patients when making his determinations about their health needs. The office staff on the other hand kind of suck, and rarely follow up with patient needs.
