Dr. Carlos Leche, MD

Here's a rewritten version of Poor Patient Care and Misinformation I visited this doctor three years ago and hadn't returned since, as I'd been doing well. However, I recently needed to schedule a check-up and was shocked by their policies. Despite being an existing patient, they insisted on treating me as a new patient and scheduling an appointment three months out. They claimed this was due to Florida law, but I've since confirmed with a doctor friend that this is not the case. I've found a new cardiologist and have an appointment in three weeks. It's disappointing that this practice prioritizes bureaucracy over patient care. It shouldn't matter how long a patient has been away; what matters is providing quality care when needed. Their staff's inflexibility and misinformation demonstrate a lack of concern for patients' well-being. I advise seeking care elsewhere. Rating: 1/5

I have utmost respect for Dr. Carlos Leche from Pinnacle Cardiovascular Associates. Dr. Leche is very knowledgeable on his specialty medical field, cardiology, and his patient exam is very thorough. He takes the time to be with the patient and provides detailed explanations. His office is hi-tech with a vast array of cardiovascular machines for testing. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, readily available to answer any questions. We were extremely pleased with Dr. Leche.

I agree with the other person about Dr. Leche being great, but his office staff is awful -- really awful! She is probably a really nice person, but Grace is the worst! She is horrible on the phone...really horrible. It is making me second guess if going to Dr. Leche is worth it, no matter how wonderful he is. It makes me question his decision-making to keep such incompetent and rude staff employed.

Dr. Leche is fantastic.....unfortunately, his office staff is terrible. They seem overwhelmed and uneducated. They do not follow up. They do not document things correctly. I have seen them treat patients checking in and out like they really do not care. They are not rude, just indifferent. BUT, again, Dr. Leche is wonderful!! He takes his time with you. He is patient and kind, and very knowledgeable.
