The best podiatrist in Kentucky
Dr Kihm solved my diabetic foot issues with amazing skills. He was kind, thoughtful and explained everything. Without his help I wouldn't have my foot. His office staff follow his lead being kind with gentle patience.

Disrespectful
He was not helpful at all when he was told about the injury he caused to my daughter's foot. A simple bunion removal has turned into an issue that has not healed in over a year. We have been to numerous appointments with a wound care specialist and have had no help from Mr Kihm. He did however offer $1k for her troubles as long as she removed her 1 star review and sign something that would let him off the hook for it. Unfortunately, law offices will not take this case because it is not 'big enough'. I would recommend finding a different Podiatrist, and would not recommend one from the hospital that he works from. He was also about 45 minutes late to her surgery, the first of the day, and then seemed to be in a big rush.

The Best Around
Dr. Kihm is the best podiatrist around, hands down. He was the fourth doctor (third podiatrist) I saw for the same issue. I had been misdiagnosed twice and Dr. Kihm took the time to listen to me and was able to accurately diagnose me when every other doctor I saw wouldn’t take the time to hear me out. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, and is a great listener. The time and effort he puts into surgery and even regular office visits is unmatched. Thank you Dr. Kihm!!

I was extremely surprised by the amount of time he took during our introductory meeting. He explains the condition and approach to treatment so very clearly. I felt very comfortable and assured that he had nothing but my best interest at heart. He took time to listen to me and answer all questions with great compassion and was very forthcoming about my procedure and recovery. I also appreciate how welcoming his staff was.

While assigned as an Instructor at Fort Knox I developed Plantar Fasciitis. I went to Dr. Kihm and tried conservative measures to get relief. However, my condition had progressed to a point where I had to have plantar fasciotomies on both feet. He and his staff were the best. Anytime I had questions or concerns they immediately spoke with me. I can not say enough about their professionalism. They made me feel like a real person not just another patient. I have since moved from the area but will travel the 6 hours back to Dr. Kihm if I have further problems. This is definitely the guy to see for foot problems.

On Jan.6, 2019 my life took a sudden, drastic change. I fell down my front steps onto the concrete. I broke my right ankle and left toe. I was hospitalized with both feet wrapped and no ability to walk. The first thing Dr. Kihm said to me when I met him was "we will get you through this."In his calm reassuring tone, he laid out a plan of care and didn't give me unrealistic expectations. Following surgery Dr. Kihm and his staff offered encouragement during the long rehab and made sure I had adequate pain medication. During the spring, Dr. Kihm traveled to Guatemala to perform surgery. It was not the first time he went to another country to share his expertise. It's been 11 months since my surgery and both feet are back to normal with no pain. I would recommend Dr. Kihm to anyone who needs a podiatrist. I could not have had a better doctor in charge of my healing.

Simply said, Dr. Carl Kihm gave me my life back! I have had eight foot surgeries between both feet and have had the top rated Orthopedic doctor try as well as two other podiatrist try to get me walking pain free. To sum it up-I was up, walking in a boot and back to work pain free in two weeks after a three hour surgery! I'm walking pain free to this day! I thank God daily for Dr. Kihm. One of the most compassionate, humble, approachable, sensitive doctors you will ever meet!

Dr Carl Kihm performed a surgery on my foot almost 4 years ago. Today I have seen my 4th Podiatrist in an effort to get relief from the pain caused by this surgery. All four doctors have agreed that the surgery was not done well and I have permanent damage. 2 toes were pinned when we agreed on 1 toe. The bottom of my foot was cut when he said he would only cut the top. Permanent pins were put in my toes as opposed to pins you can pull out or dissolving pins. He did not suggest these options

I am a 16 year old girl that wants to join the army in 18 months. Dr. Kihm made that dream possible. I had two previous surgery’s, one on both feet down in Savannah, Ga to remove a bone spur on my heal performed by a different doctor. However that surgery just caused way more problems than it solved and it left me wishing I never did it in the first place. I couldn’t wear shoes with backs on it due to the pain I felt for over a year. When my family and I moved to Indiana we made sure to get my f

I had touble with my foot for over three years. Weekly visits to the wound care center and still the same results....diabetic ulcers. My treating podiatrist referred me to Dr. Kihm and I am so happy she did. prior to my first visit he had reviewed my medical records and was ready to talk to me about my foot.I was amazed at his knowledge and also his ability to remain patient and not rush to conclusions, It was apparent that my well being was his only concern. Dr. Kihm is THE BEST!!! Rich Paschal

My wife Brenda and I would not hesitate in the future to choose Dr. Carl A. Kihm for his professional expertize and care, should it be needed. Hopefully such need will never be required again. But if it is, Dr. Kihm will be who we call on, and recommend to family and friends. My wife, who is nearly 69, broke her ankle in three (3) places, She has numerous other serious medical issues that could have easily prevented her recovery. Brenda is walking on her in less than 3 months. Thanks, Dr. Kihm.

Dr. Kihm is amazingly intelligent and friendly. He makes it seem like you are not even at a doctor's office and really seems to care about his patients and doing a thorough job. I am about to have surgery with him and I am scared but if it was anyone else I probably wouldn't get it done. He makes you feel like you can trust everything he is telling you. I am so thankful for him. He has suggested things to change my life that no one has before!
