Had him in an emergency surgery at methodist womens hospital. and he accused me of taking drugs. Shot me up with something then told my husband to watch the monitor and call for help if my o2 got to 90. I

Anesthesiologist for a procedure at Methodist
I have had major complications with anesthesia during previous surgeries in the past. My husband and I both specifically asked him to review my records because my last surgery at Methodist had been very successful and I requested that he use the same protocol. He dismissed any need for that and reassured me I would be fine. I again asked him and attempted to explain the complications I have had. He agreed to give me an emend but no conformation that he would review my records. Consequently following this short procedure I was suffering from nausea, passed out and ended up having to stay overnight for an outpatient surgery. Not life threatening but definitely the result of refusing to listen to my concerns. I find it upsetting it was an unfortunate situation that could have been avoided.
