I was a patient of Dr. Harms when he was in Salem, VA. He was always so professional, yet caring & concerned. My pregnancy was considered 'at risk' with my age and a large fibroid tumor, with each pregnancy. He delivered 2 of my 3 children as he was in the hospital himself, when the 3rd was born. I've missed him since he left the area and have never found another physician with the level of competence and compassion that Dr. Harms had.

My first pregnancy was problematic so when I became pregnant again Dr.Harms made sure I was watched closely to the point when I was scheduled with one of his associates he took me out of their exam room and moved me to his. He even stayed at the hospital AFTER his shift was over hoping to deliver my daughter,but he fell asleep 30 minutes before Sara was born.
