Had seen this provider for about 5 years and thought I was getting good care but now I see that I was just fortunate not to need much. Recently have had health concerns and have had to request updated labwork and told that all of it is up to date. Thankfully caught health problem once lab work was updated and was given very generic information on treatment as if I shouldn’t want to know how to get better. I have felt brushed off on a number of health concerns in the past 4 months. This doctor does not seem interested in doing anything other than annual physicals and referring to another physician at every turn. I felt as though not one single person was looking at my health as a whole so I switched to a new PCP and have already seen a world of difference in my care and being heard.

Since transitioning to Dr. Ciesielka a couple of years ago I have found her exceptional. She is knowageable, interested, responsive and seems very up to date on medical knowledge. She very good at explaining medical conditions and courses of action. Her office has been very responsive to both routine and emergency medical concerns. She listens well and remembers things I have told her. She and her staff begin appointments on time and are friendly and efficient in their communications. Overall, I am very happy with my transition to Dr. Ciesielka.

Not good
She wouldn’t see me to see if my wound was healing properly and told me to go back to the doctor who wouldn’t call me back after leaving 3 messages that I wasn’t feeling good after having a procedure done the day before

Refuses to prescribe basic medication
Asked for a prescription for birth control pills, and she said it's out of her scope of practice and I need to see a GYNE for it....it's most defintely routine for a primary care phsyician to prescribe birth control pills, and i've never been refused a birth control prescription before. What kind of doctor refuses to prescribe birth control pills?
