A Compassionate Doctor
Dr. Powell has compassionate bedside manner. I once had chest pain and was admitted to ER. She ordered a battery of tests to rule out any heart issues. When the results were inconclusive, she recommended I stay overnight for observation, which I truly appreciated. The next day, a more precise diagnosis was reached thanks to the additional tests. I greatly appreciate Dr. Powell’s cautious yet thorough approach. She prioritized treatment in the best interest of her patient.

Dr. Powell administered aid to my un-controlled BP and she was warm, caring and explained my problems and her procedures. I'm sure its difficult to see a plethora of patients in v varying degrees of trauma and stay cool, calm and conversational. Talking to emotional patients in a soothing tone. She is definitely cut out for this type of medicine. I would highly recommend her, but with her job you don't "pre-plan" your visit. If you have to go to ER in Cypress area, go to her a Methodist Hospital, US 290, Cypress, TX
