The ABSOLUTE BEST podiatrist and a real diagnosis
After seeing six doctors in the New York City and Long Island area over December 2020 to March 2023, I finally found my way to Dr. Benitez at Naples Foot and Ankle while I was snowbirding in Naples. I had 3 foot and ankle medical doctors tell me that they really didn't know why I had pain in the top and bottom of my foot and why my first toe hurt on the side and my first and second toes shook involuntarily but they prescribed orthotics and gave me injections. Not one podiatrist could help me and gave me more injections and suggested that I see a rheumatologist. I had stem cell injections at a cost of over $1600 from a podiatrist on Madison Avenue in New York City. One doctor saw the top of my foot shaking under the skin and my first and second toes shaking involuntarily and said 'I can't help you' or 'I've never seen anything like this before'. Dr. Benitez was able to figure out within 2 visits what was going on. My diagnosis was deep peroneal neuritis.

Dr. Benitez is an unbelievable doctor.He is an excellent diagnostician. He found the source for my foot pain when no other doctor could and i am now pain free after a successful surgery. He has wonderful bed side manners and is attentive. I would recommend him highly!

Dr. Benitez is a wonderful podiatrist. He spent more time examining my feet than any other podiatrist in the past and all my complaints were fully treated. He even spent extra time making sure I understood everything he was explaining to me!
