Second time seeing Dr Zizzo for big toe joint fracture. The first time she said the bone spur could be shaved down. The second time she said that was 'no longer an option' because it had gone too far. The thing she recommended was joint fusion. I hoped she would show me on the x rays what she meant but she did not. I looked into fusions and saw that people had pain and activity issues with the procedure. My paid was not terrible so I waited to find a joint replacement podiatric surgeon. Fast forward, I had an opinion from a fellowship trained Podiatric surgeon who said he could shave it down and use blood cell plasma to reinvigorate the joint. In my opinion this is a much better option than fusion, due to the effects of fusion on the gait. I did not feel Dr. Zizzo was very current on orthopedic foot issues.

Absolutely the worst provider I've ever had
She could not be bothered. Seemed angry I was there. Had a checkup from a broken foot. Said nothing most of the appointment, assumed she was reading notes and looking at the x-rays. All she said was "looks good" and walked out. Didn't say if I needed any additional follow up or not. She acted like I was an entire imposition to her day. And threw off the most angry vibes the entire time I was there. I would seek care from literally anyone else at all. Avoid at all costs. Only refer people you don't like to her.

12-29-2020 6:38 pm. The surgery Dr. Camille Zizzo performed on my foot 7-2020 has created more problems than I ever had before, here are the problems I now have: 1. Toe is numb 2. You used surgical tape on my foot when I came in for the dressing change and I am severely allergic to surgical tape and is documented in my chart I assumed you new this as it is right in my chart my allergies (caused the horrific scare because my foot broke out into a terrible rash with scaring blisters and I had to remove the small tapes 2 days after you put them on, the scar speaks for itself). 3. I have a lot of pain when I walk in the toe and arch of foot now. 4. The photos show the bunion was not addressed and is super painful. 5. Large toe is shorter. I didn't walk on the foot for 2 months and this is now what I am dealing with and have to see another specialist. I am not only disappointed, I am angry for the time that was taken away from me. BEWARE!

I spent $100 to get my toe nails clipped. HORRIBLE job . She just hacked off the top and didn’t bother sanding them down or shaping them like my other podiatrist . NEVER GOING BACK. Visit was less than 5 min and it cistb$100. Rip off

Every visit she and her staff are prompt and courteous. Listening to my concerns, fears and answering my questions about surgery....treatment is a major plus for me. Felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. The girls at the desk are very polite which seems to be rare in most medical offices.
