Dr. Camille Boon, MD

I was having health problems and simply asked her if she could check labs while I was there for a well woman visit. She said labs weren’t indicated. Had she checked my labs she would have found that I had abnormal labs that showed the cause my unwellness which was a parathyroid tumor. Although that tumor was not an on/gyn issue, ordering labs was well within her scope and easy to order. I did not feel like she listened to me or cared about me during the visit.

I work at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and was referred to Dr Boon by a fellow hospital employee who works on the Labor & Delivery floor. Dr Boon is wonderful. She has been my OB for two years, and delivered my first baby. She is kind, calm and is an all around great doctor. I had a great birth experience and totally trust Dr Boon. She’s one of the go-to OBs for a lot of the hospital staff including Labor and Delivery nurses, which says a lot! Her staff is also wonderful. I always got prompt call-backs from her nurse to answer the many questions of a first time mom. I highly recommend Dr Boon and her team!

Dr. Boon has a gentle and softspoken manner. She is a thorough and careful physician. I have the utmost confidence in her.

Dr. Boon has a calm, unrushed style and is sympathetic to her patients' concerns. She delivered my first baby and made me feel so at ease (or as at ease as one can get in a delivery room), and she was encouraging all the way through. I also see her for my well-woman visits. My first OB-GYN was overly rough for my first pap-smear, and I almost kicked him in the face. I don?t know how she does it, but it has never hurt that much with Dr. Boon. I think she?s great.
