Poor management
I highly do not recommend this office because of the staff. I left a urine sample and was waiting for the results for a few days, when I got a call from the office that they needed to speak with me. I called back several times with no response, and I decided to show up at the office as I was extremely concerned about the results. The MA immediately pulled me aside to a different room and told me that she gave me the wrong cup to urinate in, and told me to redo the urine sample. It was incredibly inconvenient as I have an extremely busy schedule and not being able to contact the office to learn if my results were negative or positive for anything concerning was frustrating as they left me a VM saying I needed to call back asap. Go to an office with better communication. Also, don't leave cups in the restroom for urine samples if those are not the cups you intend to send in to the lab.

Incompetent staff
Dr Salanta is ok but the staff is incredibly incompetent and rude. They almost never returned my calls. It took 10 days to get an appointment to see her for a case of Sacbes, after many unreturned calls. Next I had a bone density test in her office and it took the staff over 2 weeks to get back to me, after me calling them 3 or more times. They only returned one of these calls. I am still waiting for them to add the results to mychart. Dr Salanta has not contacted me with the results. My first bone density test was with Henry Ford and I got the results in 48 hours and the doctor set up a meeting to go over the results. A much better experience. Will be looking for a new doctor shortly

Worst Medical Group I have ever encountered.
This medical group is located in a dismal office space that looks like it has not been improved since the 1950's. It is ugly and run down and demonstrates disrespect for its clients. The billing department is horrible. They assumed, based on age, that I was on Medicare even though I am on my spouse's Blue Cross, and they had that information. They were hard to reach and had an absurd process for correcting the information that they had readily available to them. When they sent in a claim for Blue Cross, they input incorrect information and the claim was rejected. They assumed I was in error, and they weren't. When they said they would check on it and call back, they never called back. Dr. Salanta is very distant, seems completely burnt out, assumes the worst about the arc of my health, predicts doom, and then will not renew a blood pressure medication. I called two weeks in advance of running out. Never called me back. Do NOT use this doctor.

Dr Salanta is okay. But staff is horrible. Medical assistants are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Changed doctors because of horrifyingly bad staff.

My husband and I simply adore Dr. Salanta. She was friendly and had taken time with us both. Now, my mother has started going to her as well.
