Terrible care
I went to the Seabrook ER with flu type symptoms; Dr saw me for a total of 3 minutes, listened to my lungs for 2 seconds through my sweatshirt and said my lungs were clear and I had an upper respiratory infection and continue what I was doing at home. I got the impression she couldn’t be bothered with why I was there. I did end up at another hospital the following morning and was diagnosed with complications of influenza A, placed on oxygen and nebulizer treatments and admitted for 3 days. The ER doctor at this hospital said “I can assure you that your lungs do not sound clear”. I will never return to any hospital or urgent care place that is staffed by doctors like Dr Dwyer.

I would give zero stars if I could.
I saw her at Dover freestanding ER. She was the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. She walked in to my room and asked me what I was there for. She immediately cut me off while talking and told me to stop as she knew all my history. None of my doctors are through Portsmouth or HCA so none of my history there. She then told me I had no right to be there for my abdominal pain and that I needed to be at my doctors office. I told her that they were the ones who sent me to get looked at. She then said I belonged at urgent care. I told her I tried there first and they told me I needed to come here. She then told me I needed to get over the pain and go home. She said that I would need a cat scan to see what my doctor was looking for but that she was refusing to give me one. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional and outright rude. She should never be allowed to care for another patient as she is only dismissive and judges the patients. She is what’s wrong with healthcare.

Refused to treat a patient
My son was drugged, and the police told me to take him the Portsmouth ER for a tox screening. Dr. Dwyer refused to do so because she said he was intoxicated. I told her he had been drugged. He was displaying paranoia, disorientation, confusion, didn't know where he was, why he was there, couldn't remember the last four hours. She continued to say he was intoxicated and "we don't do that here." Then she told us to leave or she would call security.

Rude & Condescending
Dr. Dwyer had to be the most rude physician I’ve ever encountered. Totally dismissive and practicing without compassion or interest in what is going on with a patient. Her tone, attitude, and overall demeanor is unbecoming for a doctor.

Most Idiotic "Doctor" in NH
I took my daughter to PRH ER in Dover for a painful, spreading, open sore STAPH infection. This "doctor" saw her for about 30 seconds, didn't even look at the sites of infection, and said "it's eczema. Put some cream on it." Unbeknownst to this idiot, my daughter already has eczema and it doesn't express itself as painful open sores that spread over her body! I immediately took my daughter to a different urgent care facility for a second opinion, where they swabbed her wounds and sent them out for testing. The results came back that my daughter had a Penicillin resistant STAPH infection that required oral and cream antibiotics. This STAPH infection spread to my other children and also to myself. I can only imagine how bad it would've been if I had left PRH Dover with the "Medical advice" of it only being "eczema" and to "put cream on it". This idiot needs her license revoked. Oh, and they sent me a bill for $743.00, that I absolutely will not be paying.

I wouldn’t recommend this woman to anyone. She was so rude and had no empathy. She was disrespectful and didn’t listen to any of my concerns and was assuming my 2 year old sons diagnosis without even completing a proper exam. We went in because my son had a fever since Friday morning of 102.3, bad cough, runny nose, tugging on his ears and so much more. He looked horrible but she told me he just had a cold and he was fine. I asked if she could look in my sons ears and she looked at me and said “he does not have an ear infection it’s just a cold” without even looking. After she looked she told me his ears were inflamed and red but wasn’t going to prescribe him anything because it was red from crying and having a cold. The was the worst experience we have ever had with a doctor. Stay far away from this woman because we left beyond frustrated that she didn’t help our son and assumed it was a cold during our visit. We saw her at portsmouth regional hospital.

She is hands down the worst ER dr I have ever had. She is rude, condescending, & didn't take my pain seriously. I was in the ER 2x w/in a week for extreme abdominal pain spreading into my back and chest & severe nausea w/ some vomiting. When tests came back normal the 1st visit, she gave me pain meds (only after my mom and I made a fuss) & then discharged me even though I was so dehydrated they couldn't get an IV in. The 2nd time I was stuck with her (no other drs on that night), she came into the room & basically accused me of being a drug addict & wouldn't give me strong enough meds to help the pain. Ran some tests, all w/in normal limits again. So instead of trying to figure out what they were missing that was causing that amount of pain & nausea, she discharged me. She is a liability to any hospital who hires her, because one of these days she's going to miss something that ends up killing a patient because she didn't listen & didn't take them seriously. Avoid her at all costs!!!

Horrible experience. Dr approached me without introducing herself and immediately began questioning my symptoms and why I felt the need to come in. As a nurse myself, I confronted her regarding her unprofessional behavior and how she was making me, the patient, feel as though my concerns were not real or valid. She is prime example of why patients often do not seek necessary medical care. I would not describe her as thoughtful or empathetic. I suggested she may be burnt out as evidenced by her poor ability to see patients as humans and treat them with dignity and respect.

After the way I was treated the other night by Dr Dwyer in Mercy Hospital , I would tell every patient to run as far away as possible. She didn't listen to a word I said, basically, told me my pain was controlled, and the worst part is that she was very argumentive with me. She wanted to send me home, without doing any assessment of what could have need going on with me. Thank good I called the dr that told me to go to Mercy....I ended up being admitted for 3 days.

Saw this MD in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital. She was disinterested, unprepared, ill informed, and defensive when asked specific questions related to lab reports and care.
