Would not recommend
I saw her in Jefferson City in 2020 after discovering an ascending aorta aneurysm on CT that measured 4.9 cm. Was obviously terrified & wanted it removed. She advised it wasn’t done until it reached 5.5cm unless there was an underlying condition that would indicate it being done sooner. That being said she over talked me when I wanted to know more. Told me people lived with this condition for years & she had only fixed one in the past 8 years. Ok, good for you. You won’t be doing mine. She wanted to do another CT to recheck in a year & only agreed to recheck in 3 months because I insisted. I didn’t like her at all! I never went back. I saw another surgeon in St. Louis as referred by my cardiologist in November 2022 due to the growth to 5.4 & consequently had open heart with a graft replacement of my aorta. My advice would be to see someone else.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Walker?
I would not recommend Dr. Walker to any loved ones. She gave poor advice and falsely represented herself as capable of a difficult surgery. After 3 months of following her recommended protocol, she indicated she was not qualified to proceed. Upon further review in the Jefferson City community, we have discovered she has a reputation for being a Level 1 surgeon not capable or experienced for complex surgeries. If your procedure is complex, move on now.
