New Knee
I had a total knee replacement (right knee) and dr was very concerned. He did a great job and my knee is still (8 yrs later) doing great. I would gladly recommend him to anyone.

One finger acting up; after surgery whole hand useless. He claimed he did not do anything wrong. Last appointment was 15 seconds and he terminated the relationship.

Dr Grauerholtz has got to be one of the most thorough orthopods I have ever had. To make a complicated story short, he basically overhauled my shoulder when the MRI suggested it could just be a tear in my rotator cuff. He was caring and kind as I was truly freaked about having surgery. He personally oversaw my recovery care at the hospital as I had issues. He is excellent, open can be brutally honest, but he doesn't want to sugarcoat anything. He is my orthopedist..and always will be.

An Xray of my right hand indicated some osteoarthritis. In addition, there was a large lump on the bottom of my wrist, so an MRI was taken. Dr. ignored the MRI suggesting a ganglion cyst and suggest a surgical procedure removing two bones and at a later visit three different bones in my hand to address the osteoarthritis. Turns out it was a cyst that popped, and the problem disappeared. He also recommended an expensive brace for a knee problem without taking an Xray or MRI. Not going back.

Dr Grauerholz just effectively chased my mother out of his office, after doig his best to scare her out of a much-needed knee surgery. Apparently, in his eyes, because she's overweight, she doesn't deserve decent care.

I was recommended by my doctor to Dr. Grauerholz, as he is a specialist. He really took a lot of time to listen to my concerns and make sure I had all of my questions answered. When I had the procedure done, he told me how much time it was going to take from end to end. He was off by 1 minute. He is very friendly and professional. Hopefully, I won't need his services again, but if I do, I will be happy to have him do the work.
