Hope for Women
I did my research and I was not entirely sold on having the Sling procedure. I discussed the concerns I had with Dr. Bowling and decided to have the procedure. I am delighted with the results! The support staff for Dr. Bowling were excellent and the actual procedure was rather simple and quick. the results are excellent and after 6 weeks, I am continuing to improve. I am very happy with the results and I encourage women who are having urinary problems to consult with Dr. Bowling to resolve these problems. Dr. Bowling has the medical experience to help with these issues. I feel that the Sling procedure has given me a better quality of life and I do thank Dr. Bowling and his staff for this change in my life activities.

Life Changing Surgery!
After 2 unsuccessful surgeries by another surgeon, my PMC doctor referred me to Dr Bowling. This was such a low point in my life. I was miserable. Dr Bowling immediately told me he could help with my situation. This was a difficult journey. Unfortunately he was having to deal with the incompetence of the prior surgeon. However, Dr Bowling continued to be diligent in developing a treatment plan for success. After almost 2 years, he was able to complete my treatment with complete success. Dr Bowling and his staff went above and beyond in helping me. My life is better because of them. My hope is other PMC physicians will refer their patients to competent specialists such as Dr Bowling. I’m so thankful mine did!

Mesh problem fixed
I had a repair with mesh in Texas 4 years ago and have dealt with pain and bleeding since 2021. When I moved to Tennessee at the beginning of 2024, my gyn doctor told me Dr. Bowling was the local expert at fixing mesh problems and sent me to see him. He found the issue immediately and I felt so at ease on my first visit because he knew how to fix it. I had surgery last month and just had a follow up and the problem is completely resolved. I feel so much better; so thankful my OBGYN sent me to see Dr. Bowling.

Fixed my mesh
I had a repair with mesh in Texas 4 years ago. When I moved to Tennessee at the beginning of this year, my OBGYN was shocked that no one had ever seen the problem from my old surgery. She told me Dr Bowling was the local expert at fixing mesh problems and sent me to see him. He found the issue immediately and I felt so at ease on my first visit because he knew how to fix it. I had surgery about 4 weeks ago and just recently had a follow up and the problem is completely resolved. I feel so much better and I'm so thankful my OBGYN sent me to see Dr. Bowling.

Best Doctor Ever
It's difficult to put into words what an incredible physician Dr. Bowling and his team have been for my mother. After having a complication with another surgeon at another hospital, Dr. Bowling took over her care. We are so glad he did. He literally saved her life. Not only that, his compassion and communication were unparalleled. My mother was at the hospital for two months. He saw her every single day, including weekends. He was so compassionate and caring. He sat with her every day and listened to her concerns. He called family members every day to make sure we understood what was going on and made sure all of our questions were answered. He managed the whole team of specialists that were participating in her care. He performed an incredibly challenging, life-saving surgery that other doctors didn't think could be done. Even after discharge he still checked in on us. I truly don't understand some of the poor reviews that have been left. Most of them seem old.

Awesome at what he does!!
I have been seeing Dr Bowling since 2016 and he did a through exam and helped me with my problem right away. He has always been very nice and professional. Never rude or rushed when I've been there. I just had surgery to replace my Interstim device with the Axonics and am doing well. A little pain but healing well as far as I can tell. I am glad my Dr referred me to him. He's awesome and knows what he's doing. Thank you Dr Bowling for taking care of me all these years.

Relief from infection
I have been dealing with bladder infections for almost 10 years and never could get them stopped. I've been on enough antibiotics to choke a horse. Dr. Bowling found the problem quickly and I've not had an infection since. Thank you Dr. Bowling and staff!

Dr. Bowling may be an extremely accomplished physician, but several of my meetings with him were made even more stressful due to his demeanor. I found him to be curt, dismissive and condescending. I conveyed my symptoms, and history quickly, b/c I appreciate doctors have limited time. However, trying to obtain medical treatment for a very uncomfortable and chronic condition was made more difficult by Dr. Bowling. I left there extremely upset more than once, without feeling like I had complete medical treatment or support. The other members of the office staff have been consistently professional.

Terrible treatment
Dr. Bowling is arrogant, cold, and dismissive. Made me feel like I was keeping him from something more important. Didn't seem interested in anything I had to say. Asked if I wanted surgery and when I said no, that was the end of the appointment. No other options were given for treatment. Exam was rough and painful.

I left in tears
Don't bother seeing dr bowling for recurring UTIs - he'll say you have IC within 2 seconds and belittle you for requesting other tests. He's the kind of doctor that doesn't want you to advocate yourself because he seems to think he's all-knowing, and any research you (a puny non-medical plebian) could have collected is useless. I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life.

I've suffered with urine leakage since the birth of my last child (9 pounder!). My family doc sent me to see Dr. Bowling who was able to stop the leakage. He explained to me what he was going to do in detail but I still don't understand how he did it. I'm just glad he did. Thank you, Dr. Bowling!

Due to several health conditions, I see a lot of doctors, but Dr. Bowling has made me happier than any physician I've ever dealt with. He is knowledgeable, and has a reputation as an excellent surgeon. Somehow, despite a busy practice, he always seems to be on time which is a huge plus for me. I have had a urine leakage problem since the birth of my last child 6 years ago. It had gotten to the point I could no longer exercise or play with my kids without having to change clothes. I went to see Dr. Bowling after he was recommended by a friend who had seen him in the past. He did a few quick tests and determined that I was a candidate for surgery. The surgery was quick, almost painless and I was home the same day. I went in today for my 3 month follow up. And I'm Dry! I've not leaked a drop in 3 months! This is amazing!

Treated my wife like she was an annoyance, didn’t bother to address the issue that she went in for, was extremely rude & condescending, spoke negatively about one of his colleagues & last but not least-told her to get dressed and then he never returned to the exam room! This Dr. is one to avoid & if I could’ve given him less than 1 ??, I certainly would have. ??

Dr. Bowling is the best. He was able to fix my prolapse and my leakage with a quick surgery. I stayed overnight even though I wasn't hurting. I think he just wanted to watch after me a bit. I had very little pain overall. I just had my 6 month follow up visit and everything is perfect. So thankful for this man.

Dr., Bowling did my surgery in August of 2017. I had been to several Dr's., but they wouldn't do surgery due to my many medical problems! He performed the surgery and I won't lie.... my recovery was hard but to be expected due to my other medical problems! He was always Keith BD and never made me feel like any question I had was unimportant and he answered every one! I finally have that problem taken care of and it makes walking, sitting and the pain with that particular problem is over!

This particular area of medicine is bad enough to have to even go to someone to talk about but Dr Bowling and his nurse were completely professional while also being compassionate and down to earth. My particular issues were discussed, all the different options given and I was told by Dr Bowling that he would help me with any of the treatment choices I decided were best for my situation. It was good to be a part of the decision making instead of hearing what he decided I needed to do!!

Dr. Bowling seemed very knowledgeable although he hadn't quite seen my type of fistula before. He did refer to me to a CRS whom he felt would be able to give me better answers. Of course, I'm disappointed that we weren't able to have a set plan at my apt, but I do feel sure that he will get to the bottom of my issue. As for his office staff, so frustrating. I wanted to pay for my visit at the time of service but the check out lady was very snappy and rude and said they'd just bill me.
