Dr. Bryan Strickland, MD

This doctor is a flack one minute he come into the exam room smiling and shaking my hands,and the the next minute he is accusing me of be a drug dealer. This flack hadn't time to listen to my explanation of why I have being filling my blood pressure meds so often. What he does is cancel my regular meds for less mg. He is try to wing me off my blood pressure medication in 2 weeks instead of a year which is the exact time it takes to wing a pt. Off on clondine all I ask of him was to adjust my meds not completely try to take them away within 2 weeks. Since he have reduced my meds my blood pressure have been running from 154 70 to 175 80 very bad for anyone . A doctor should not be able to take away meds that have proven to work for his pt just because in his opinion the drug is a bad one. I take what keeps me alive. I have being on clondine .2 for 5 years now with no side effects now his high and mighty behind want to remove them in 2 wee

Dr. Strickland is an excellent care provider. He clearly explained my diagnosis, and the options available for treatment, and he has an excellent bedside manner. I felt very comfortable trusting him with my care.

Dr. Strickland is a great doctor, with enthusiasm and care. He's very focused on the whole person and will consider diet, stressors, etc. He is proactive and thorough!

As a physician, I have deeply appreciated Dr Stickland's careful and thoughtful approach over many years. He made and early discovery of my prostate cancer, judiciously controlled my blood pressure and several other chronic diseases. I have been well cared for my him as he has changed offices and affiliations.

While I know that Dr. Strickland cares about his patients and is a good health care provider, I would NOT recommend him to my family and friends. I've been his patient for almost two(2) years and no matter the reason I am there (follow-up, sickness, or well-checkup), he spends almost the whole entire time telling me that I need to be a vegan. I have no doubt about his skills as a doctor, but I always dread going because I know he will, once again, lecture me on the principles of a vegan lifestyle.

Very concerned about my well being, both physical and mental. Up to date knowledge about health.

Dr. Strickland is very thorough! He helps me stay on track with my diabetes, eating plan and weight as well as follow up with other physicians. The staff is also friendly and efficient.

Dr. Strickland is awesome doctor. He’s very thorough and is a wonderful motivator for staying on track with meds , nutrition and exercise to keep stress and A1c down . I am very grateful to have a person like doctor B. Strickland.

Dr. Strickland is one the most caring, competent, and up-to-date doctors I have ever met. He listens and cares. He doesn't try to push medications, but asks about and recommends helpful lifestyle changes instead of drugs. He prefers to help his patients prevent illness, which I really appreciate!

I always feel confident with the information and advice I receive when visiting Dr.S. He listens, does not always agree, but explains his position for me to consider. Bottom line-- I trust his knowledge ,ability and his genuine interest in his patients.

I was pleased that he listed to all my concerns and told me his. We shall come up with a game plan to get me back to where I was health wise before my cancer diagnose and abnormal labs. If you can keep him on point and not try to change everyone to vegan. All would be well.

On my last visit, Dr. Strickland was attentive to my concerns and made every effort to give me complete answers. He is professional, direct, and very kind.

Dr Strickland was personable, courteous, and allowed me to speak freely. He took time to answer my questions and provided a thorough evaluation and care plan. Dr. Strickland does not think in terms of treating your current complaint but in how to extend your life beyond expectations. His approach is balanced between the latest medical advances and coaching you on how to improve your health through exercise and healthy eating habits. By following his recommendations over the past 6 months I have lost 15 pounds and feel better than I have for many years.
