He is TERRIBLE!
Doesn't like to include family!! (Even if the patient wants them!!) Moved here from NC. It's one thing to want to change my meds. It's another to be so flipped with my sister that has schizo-effective disorder! DO NOT SEND SOMEONE YOU CARE TO THIS MAN!!

~15 minutes between two appointments
I was referred to Dr. Lockmer a few years ago related to concerns about depressed mood and fatigue. My intake appointment, which I assumed would take at least half an hour or even an hour, was around 10 minutes. I believe he was needed in the hospital for another patient, which is understandable if it was an emergency, but compromising one patient's health in order to support another's isn't the solution. I don't think any physician is able to spend 10 minutes with a patient, gather all pertinent personal and medical information, and come up with effective, proper treatment plan. After those short 10 minutes with him, he felt it appropriate to prescribe a certain medication that, had I known, I would have never taken. I was skeptical from the get-go, but I trust a provider's knowledge and judgement over my own. This medication ended up causing long-lasting health implications that I deal with to this very day, including over 50 lbs of weight gain. I wish I never went.

I have only recently seeing Dr. Lockmer (3 appts) and he is the first of 3 to finally listen to me and what I say my symptoms were and not fill in the blanks. He really helped me come back to being my normal self by treating the issue I actually have other than an issue they want me to have. I feel he was very professional with me at all times yet still not cold. To me he is caring and very good at what he does.

I would not recommend going to this doctor. He is not compassionate and doesn’t listen or explain conditions. He is very inexperienced and it shows
