Dr. Bruno Cardoso, MD

Rested his arm on my breast while giving an ear cleaning- my boyfriend was in the room too. Female PA had no problem with this and didn’t do that prior to him so I know it’s not a me thing. Needs to figure out how to reposition his arms while working on a client to remain respectful or lay a cushion down between if that’s what he needs to do to reach the ear. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and avoidable.

Everyone in Dr. Cardoso’s office is superb. Friendly, efficient and thorough. Dr. Cardoso was terrific. Knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend.

Dr. Cardoso was very pleasant right from the start not only did he do the exam, he also explained everything that he was doing, explained what he found, and explained it in terms that I could actually understand what he was saying. Any questions that I asked, he gave me an honest answer. At the end of my visit he asked me if there was anything else that I needed that wasn’t already taken care of. He was very warm and gentle and pleasant as a As a doctor could be. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking ENT doctor, He is exceptional.

My elderly Mom with Dementia came in for a full ENT review. The Doctor and the Nurse were very patient and very caring. They explained everything they were doing and made my mom feel very comfortable. This was a perfect experience. Thanks to everyone!

Very friendly and attentive. Dr. Cardoso and his assistant were very thorough and I felt that all my concerns were addressed. It was quick, painless and gave me peace of mind. He will be removing a bothersome cyst on my jaw and I feel relieved to have such a high quality practitioner handling something that I was previously very nervous about. My entire experience at the Yale Old Saybrook Specialty Center was top-notch.

Dr Cardoso is the 2nd ENT doctor I have had, and far exceeds my previous experience. Dr Cardoso is happy to answer questions and give advice on daily habits to keep my nose happy. After I expressed concern about hoarseness after talking for 2 hours, he checked my throat too and gave me some ideas for relief. Excellent experience.

Dr. Cardoso, treated me for an elongated hyoid bone that was causing me some terrible pain in my glossopharyngeal nerve. I had been wrestling with the pain for the better part of the year, with MRIs and CT Scans not showing the cause. He reviewed my CT scan and discovered what others had not. As has been my experience with Yale surgeons, he is a step above in so many ways. The surgery went well, he communicated effectively, and he gave me a ton of hope. I recommend him and his entire team to any body that has any ENT issues. I'm certain if he can't fix it, he'll find someone who can.
