Dr. Bruce Wishnov, DO

I am 75 years old. Dr Wishnov has been yelling at me for 30 years (LOL) Wonderful doctor sits and discusses all care, never rushes me out. After many years of struggling with my weight and other issues, I finally took all of his advise, followed his instructions and I'm feeling the way I should. I sure wish I listened sooner. I just left his office 65lbs lighter than I was this past December. I JUST LOVE THIS GUYLarry Beekman

What a shame! I love Leanne Butler, my nurse practitioner here, but due to the absolutely offensive office manager, insanely rude and unhelpful office staff, nurses with no personality and the fact that they refuse to give me my medical records in time for another appt with a specialist, I will no longer be returning and NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS PRACTICE. I have never experienced such an unbelievably unprofessional office staff in my life. I was argued with and put in a defensive position in a power struggle instead of making me, the patient, feel safe and cared for. The office manager here should be fired and is an absolute liability to this practice, which is what I told Dr. Wishnov. He agreed and said that she has terrible people skills, but yet still seems to think that she is a wonderful office manager, and that his front desk staff is acceptable. I have never been so disrespected, invalidated and offended in a medical practice. STAY AWAY.

Dr Bruce was great. He changed to a concierge doctor so had to start going to his PA Ann Mohn and NP Leanne Butler. Have seen Ann 3 times since switching and she is also thorough. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. It sometimes DOES take 1-3 voicemail messages for someone to get back with you within a couple days. That is the only complaint from me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wishnov's for over 30 years and I feel extremely lucky to have had his care and expertise for so long (and hopefully for many more years). He is considerate, listens, and patient. His care balances his expertise with a manner that puts one at ease. In short he's as great a person as he is a Doctor. I recommend him to everyone.

I have never experienced worse service from a Dr. and his staff than I have at this office. I will never go back or recommend anyone to this office. They do not care about their patients health. This is a money maker only. Avoid.

I have been with the Doctor for many, many years. I even switched Ins. Co. to keep him. New office people are very helpful and friendly.

Dr.Wishnov is amazing, but after years and years being his patient I had to switch my pcp because of the manager, Janet. The nurse staff disregarded my multiple prescription requests from nearly two weeks ago not only from me, but two from my pharmacy I use as well. I called today to ask why my medication hasn't been filled and Janet told me I never called and it's not logged in their call book that I left messages on their prescription refill line. I have been out of medication that I need daily for a week now. Janet is not a doctor and as a patient of Dr.Wishnovs she tried giving me medical advise stating my medication I need is not a necessity and the doctor won't fill it. I then proceeded to ask if she would put Dr.Wishnov on the phone. I told her for health reasons and not the medication I needed to speak with him as he is my doctor and I'm concerned for my health without my medication. Janet 100% refused to allow me to speak with him. I then told her I am leaving a message and sh

Cancelled first appointment before it even happened. All I needed was a health insurance-paid annual wellness exam and they would only schedule that AFTER a new patient exam (which I would be responsible to pay for).

Horribly run practice. Office staff are nasty to patients. Office manager is beyond unprofessional - when questioned about charges that were incorrect- she said dr. Got charts mixed up! Scary! Office only interested in referring for medical marijuana for extra out of pocket fees- even if not requested by patients.

I moved to Tamarac, but will never move away from Dr Bruce Wishnov, the greatest Doctor that I have ever known????

My girlfriend and I have been seeing Dr. Wishnov and Leanne for many, many years. You can't do much better as far as care goes plus their staff is excellent!

Dr Wishnov is an outstanding, caring Physician. That being said, expect to wait a LONG time in the office.

Very professional and honest regarding your health. He does not sugarcoat your health issues. Then send you out the door before able to ask ? Or voice concerns. He overlooks no details. You are not just a file;he goes over any changes to assure you understand and are comfortable in walking out of his office. His medical assistants are angels and will help with the smallest requests. Leanne Butler, NP is an amazing, extremely briight, and caring addition and they make an amazing team. Thankful

Dr. Wishnov really cares about his patients and listens to them. He saved my mom's life by ordering a CT scan to double check the cause of her pain and ovarian cancer was discovered, this type of cancer does not have a screening test. If he did not order that scan it could have progressed further. I myself have been a patient for over 15 years and he has always given me the best care. His staff is also wonderful, Barbara at the front desk is always cheerful and willing to help.

the doctor and his office are a disgrace. the staff is not only uninformed - they have no idea what they are doing - they do not answer phone messages when they know they are guilty of wrong doing which they are guilty of. the doctor himself is also a disgrace - he does not refer his patients to the proper specialists, down plays patient concerns and endangers his patients lives.

I spent several days in the hospital, after being released, I started to feel very ill again. now taking a lot of prescriptions. I visited him and he spent a very long time looking at all the DRs notes from the hospital. fixed my problem in a couple of days. cannot say enough about Dr. Wishnov other than thank you!

I felt compelled to write about doctor Bruce Wishnov and his staff. First Dr. Wishnov saved my life. I have been a patient of his for years. I had been complaining to him about some back pain. He insisted that I go for a cat scan which his office arranged for me. The results were that I had renal cancer. He arranged on his time to get me into a world class surgeon. Had Dr Wishnov not taken the time with me I most certainly would be dead. I can't say enough great things about his practice
