I was more than satisfied with Dr. Usher. He was very thorough and scheduled me for an ECHO. I’d had a heart attack and 4 bypass surgery in 2009. I was worried because at that time my surgeon said because of poor arteries and veins used in the bypass surgery they would not last 10 years and there’s no do over. Dr. Usher assured me things are much different now. Also after years of suspecting thyroid disease and Endos not able to diagnose any, Dr. Usher believed I did have thyroid problems and recommended I see another Endo. I did and she discovered I have a rare thyroid condition. I continue to see Dr. Usher as he is a very good cardiologist.

I would not recommend him. After a scare with chest pains, my husband went to his GP. He had a follow up nuclear stress test. The GP said there appeared to be damage and referred him to Dr Usher, who said my husband's heart was ok, he just needed to lose weight and lower his cholesterol. My husband had a follow up appointment scheduled 6 weeks later, but he died suddenly at the age of 40. The autopsy showed his heart was enlarged, a 70% blockage, and visible heart damage.
