Dr. Bruce Marquez, MD

Dr. Marquez knows how to quickly arrive at a diagnosis or the root of the problem and provide solutions, whether it's behavioral or medicinal. He doesn't give advice, but supports your decisions, which is key in learning independence. Sometimes people don't understand the role of a psychiatrist, which is to get a snapshot of where you are in terms of therapy and adjust medications as necessary. Psychiatrists are not therapists! So, if you're looking for a therapist, seek out a psychologist.

Would absolutely not recommend. Dr. Marquez is seemingly a somewhat intelligent doctor, capable of doing his job. However, most recently, I moved to the east coast and ran out of my medication. I called to get an electronic prescription sent to me to refill my prescription but he refused to send the prescription. I initially accepted his response, but attempted to call back to explain that it would be a week until I could see a psych here for a refill. I've called 3 days in a row with no respons
