Patients of Dr. Kehr from 6/21 to 12/21. Overall experience was negative, with money being a clear driving factor and completely unprofessional in care and charges. 1. Said he could take me on as a therapy patient, my husband as a patient, and the two of us as couples patients = Conflict of interest and not rec'd by any real therapist. 2. During one session he told me 'husbands don't like wives henpecking.' 3. He was redundant and robotic. 'You look so sad' with an attempt to sound caring was used in my session and my husbands. 4. He failed to prep - forgot that my husband had incidents of infidelity and was surprised despite it being old info from prior session. 5. Used outdated and old therapy strategies which enabled. 6. He charged $575 for a session to fill out a MLOA. Agreed to credit the session but then later texted to reinstate the charge??? 7. Didn't call back counselor while husband was at inpatient alcohol rehab. 8. Called me 'angry' when I cxled next appt. LOL.

Seems to know little about the practicalities when it comes to moving a dementia patient to a facility. Unhelpful in just about every way possible. Agitated my parent - zero bedside manner. The visit was unhelpful, the expense unjustified and the hauntiness irritating.

I can't say enough about our experience here. The level of care is extraordinary, inspired, deeply personal, and worth every penny. Dr. Kehr's brilliance is well known, but also he is so very kind. It's an important distinction, often overlooked when choosing a medical practice. FYI, we were actually relieved to find that we could pay via credit card as with other emergency service models like poison control and urgent veterinary care. We were able to begin treatment with no 800 numbers to call.
