He explains everything very well. Had gall bladder removed and the same night all pain stopped. Took no pain meds. Amazing surgeon. Best ever.

I had met with several general surgeons regarding my bladder. I went with Dr. Conway and I could not have been happier with the results. He is the upmost professional, has an appealing bedside manner, and takes the time to educate you on the procedure (before and after). All of the nurses raved about Dr. Conway prior to surgery. Amazing surgeon. Dr. Conway has the best bed side manner. He's patient, kind, and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes time to explain everything and makes you feel at ease. He's truly an asset, not only to the medical community, but to San Antonio and the surrounding areas.

I was extremely lucky to have Dr. Conway as my surgeon during an emergency gallbladder removal. After my gastroenterologist said I needed surgery because of long term GERD and Barretts Esophagus, I chose Dr. Conway again to do the surgery. He did the Nissen Wrap and I've been reflux free and cancer cell free for years. Dr. Conway has a very calm demeanor and is very attentive to the needs of his patients. I highly recommend him for surgical needs that may be needed!

I was referred to Dr Conway by Dr Shaffer for correction of an inguinal hernia. I visited with Dr Conway. He explained the entire procedure and was not in a hurry to go to next patient. When I went into the hospital he was there before the surgery to explain again what the operation entailed and allowed me to ask questions. His bedside manor is excellent and upbeat. After my surgery he met with my wife to explain all that happened. I am pleased with Dr Conway and would recommend him to all.

I can honestly say that he is the absolute best doctor I have ever been to. He spent a lot of time with me, and explained the pros and cons of the treatment. He treated me with respect, and took my concerns seriously. He is extremely intelligent but does not talk over you or use his power as a physician to manipulate you into starting a treatment because he is the doctor and knows best.
