Dr. Bruce Bauer, MD

Dr. Bauer is amazing, he did cleft lip and palette repair for my son 18 yrs ago.

My son was born with a Cleft Lip and Palate, he did a fantastic job and that was 44 years ago. He does beautiful work.

I have seen Dr. Bruce Bauer in more than 10 appointments. I've had several surgeries performed on the craniofacial area since I was 7 years old, which were purely intended for cosmetic purposes. The result of the surgeries were more harm than good for me. I would not recommend him to do any invasive surgeries that could harm the livelihood of children. If you have any cosmetic surgeries or know any child who would like one, make sure they are old enough to make sound judgement. A child who is 7 years old or anywhere close to that age cannot judge, they can neither make reasonable and informed decisions. I had to get new surgeries from a new doctor to remove what was done from this doctor.

Dr. Bauer is nothing short of a miracle worker. He changed my son's life for the better; my son was born with congenital nevi. All of my son's nevi have been removed! His staff is amazing! I will forever be grateful for everything he has done for our family. Dr. Bauer in my opinion is the top pediatric plastic surgeon you will find and his staff are the best!

Dr. Bauer has gone out of his way to answer questions I have & make sure we feel comfortable with the procedure my son will be having soon. He answered an email I sent him out of the blue (that I didn't expect a response from him considering he is a celebrity in the doctor world...). He responded, answered all my questions, and made me feel so comfortable. His office staff are amazing as well...I have called and bugged them a few times already, and they are very kind! He is highly recommended!

The staff at the office is very pleasant. However I am very disappointed in my son's visit. We waited over an hour to be seen, and all he did was touch my son's head and recommend an ultrasound be done. If we are looking for overall structural changes in my son's skull a CT must be ordered. I would highly recommend a different specialist. Also to be noted he seen other patient's in rooms next to ours, who came in after we did.

He and his staff are amazing. They KNOW what they are doing and are very responsive to patients calls, emails. So glad we had the opportunity of be under his care.
