Dr. Brock Summers, MD

I haven’t seen a psychiatrist in over 13 years. I saw Dr Summers for the first time today. I was SO nervous about seeing someone, but I’m having a really difficult time (and with a large push,) I agreed. I’m experiencing anxiety, depression, and panics attacks. BEST decision I could’ve made! Dr Summers was very attentive and patient through my tears and jabbing. He respected that I was hesitant about starting medication and explained everything thoroughly. He made me feel comfortable and safe. Dr Summers had a soft and gentle way about him. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Summers if you’re struggling. There’s no shame in asking for help!

Dr. Summers is incredible. He is upfront, honest, and incredibly caring. When I have issues with medication or my mental state, he has worked with me to get me to a better place. I’ve had health insurance issues due to COVID and he extended my refills although I am no longer able to see him. I hope in the near future I can continue to visit him.

I spoke with him and he is one amazing perdon. Has a temendous amount of pratiences, understanding, and a Compassionate attitude.

I love Dr. Summers. The fact that I am willing to put up with the horrendous office staff is it’s own testimony. It’s not just one of them it’s the way the front office runs. Multiple times they’ve told me one time and then changed it when they called. They don’t pay attention when you enter. Expect eyerolls so blatant you can hear them over the phone. Forget customers always right these ladies truly act like they’re perfect and we are lucky to be In their presence.

Don’t even try to book an appointment here. Had to wait a week to get an appointment (which is fine) then did not get a confirmation call. Called to confirm the time and they changed the provider to someone I’ve never heard of. Yes, that’s right. They changed the provider for mental health services. Then it’s another month to get an appointment with this person. Incredibly unprofessional and rude practice. Run.

I never made it to see Dr Summers due to his rude staff who said his next available appointment was a year from now and that he preferred to see younger patients. His staff are beyond rude and the treatment by them alone would be enough to send anyone to a psychiatrist!

Dr. Summers in a caring, compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable physician. He conducted a thorough medical evaluation at my first visit, and then discussed possible medications/treatments with me. I never feel rushed while at the appointment, and his staff ensures that I am seen promptly. He sees patients in the Glendale office on Mondays and Tuesdays, but is very responsive via email should you have a question on other days. I highly recommend Dr. Summers.
