I was being charged $850 for temporary replacement which are called (Flippers} while waiting to receive my partial dentures in less than two weeks why would she charge me this amount knowing this it definitely raised a red flag for me this was not fair I really felt like I was being taking advantage of and her snub attitude did not make it any easier.

Dr. Baum was very pleasant in nature and gentle. However, my cleaning was quite underwhelming. Including polite banter, two x-rays for me, my 11-year-old son, and I were done in under 30 minutes tops. My son and I both asked, "Is that it?" at the end of our cleanings. One of my best friends was my hygienist for close to 10 years. My children and I went to her religiously twice a year. When I changed jobs and insurances, her dental office was out of network, so I had to find another. She would set aside a full hour for me and 30 mins for children under 16. She took her time and used several instruments. In the end, my teeth were squeaky clean. After the quick plaque removal, I had a metallic taste in my mouth; my rinse was just water. I asked to have some Listerine added, to which I received just enough to taste a mild trace of it, but not enough to remove the metallic taste: no polish, no flossing, no cold air sensitivity test, no toothbrush, no toothpaste. DISAPPOINTED.

The absolutely best dentist out there and the only one I've ever trusted with my teeth. She's done all kinds of things for me - root canals, crowns, dentures, fillings, and I've never had a problem! I wish there were more doctors like Dr Baum in this world - it would've been a much better place.

Dr. Baum stated that I had a cavity between two of my molars that would need to be filled. I took a look at the X-rays she took and didn’t see the typical black spot which would show the cavity even though I asked her to point it out to me again. I went to another dentist about 4 weeks later since I was skeptical and they couldn’t find a cavity after a close look at a new X-ray. Not sure what they would have done to my teeth had I let her fill my “cavity”. I do not recommend her.
