Dr. Zell is fantastic he listens to you and does what he can by going above and beyond . I would love for him to help my husband with his knee however I can’t seem to find out where his practice is now . No longer in marlton nj

How do I get in touch with Dr. Zell for an appointment?

Dr. Zell is awesome. I had a partial knee replacement in 2014. I went to 3 Doctors before finding Dr. Zell. He replaced my knee and I've been great ever since. My family has used Dr. Zell for many, many years. I'm making an appointment to have my hip looked at. Wouldn't dream of going to any other Doctor.

I had a bad experience With Dr Zell. He was very rude and unprofessional to me and my husband. Told us to shut up whev we were trying asking questions. I asked him to X-ray my foot it was still hurting and he told me it was still fractured. Wanted me to get a bone stimulator. I went for a 2nd opinion had a catscan of Foot. Showed no fracture and fully healed. I would not recommend dr zell to Anyone. He was very rude. And no beside manner.

I've been seeing him for about 30 years for various things (knees, ankle, shoulder, and back), and I trust him. He has always taken the time to explain things to me and listen to me and my concerns. I find my visits with him to be relaxed and I have never felt pressured to hurry things along so he could see his next patient. He has done multiple surgeries on my knees and ankle through the years, but he has a conservative approach and we've only resorted to surgery after trying other methods. I'm pleased with him as my orthopedic physician and that's why I've continued to see him for so many years.

Very thorough and honest. Gives you educated advice and options. I really enjoyed being treated as a partner in my medical decisions. He is great to talk to and has resolved several orthopedic issues for me.

Wonderful Dr.--- have gone to him for almost 20 yrs--- wouldn't dream of changing to anyone else-He has done several replacement surgeries on me with excellent results and has done repairing surg, from other orthopods---with fantastic results---- It is why I travel from Lancaster,Pa. to him!!!! He is trustworthy and honest--- as a nurse I have seen my share of other Drs. a class by himself!!!! And a cool sense of humor!!!!

Shocked by the negative reviews of Dr. Zell on here. I was in terrible pain that rendered me almost immobile. Months of different doctors and different diagnoses before I saw Dr. Zell. He listened when no one else did, ran the correct tests, got me an accurate diagnosis, and it is literally because of him that I am out of bed and able to live my everyday life (drive myself to work, cook, -all things I couldn’t do anymore- etc.). The man is brilliant, and I will be grateful to him for giving me my life back for the rest of my life.

Dr Zell from the start had no bedside manner. I was recently diagnosed with a rare disease that is referred to as “dead bone disease “. Literally my bones are rapidly dying in my leg. Can’t walk and excruciatingly painful. I was looking for hope that something could be done to save my leg. His first comment to me was “so what do you want from me”. He just kept saying if I lost weight all my other issues and need for medication would go away. I have had health issues since my 20’s. Now am 62. I didn’t get obese or fat until the last five years. When I tried to explain that he said numerous times “look at my watch. What is today’s date”. He repeated that several times whenever I tried to explain. I finally said out of desperation that I go to bed every night hoping I don’t wake up. In response he said “well it’s your life”. I left there totally beaten down

Awful bedside manner. Not a very good experience with him at all.

This is a followup to my last post. Had total hip replacement10 days ago. Went fantastic! Walking normally just a few days after surgery. No pain, but still sore. After operation, Zell told me operation went perfectly. No bleeding or discoloration. As he was walking away I said, " Way to go, my man!" He turned and said, " Thanks, Dad." I like that. Great sense of humor! He's the best. Highly recommend him. Stayed overnight to watch football game. Discharged the next day. Perfect!!

Dr. Zell has been my Orthopedic surgeon for 12 years, and has done at least 10 surgeries to me as well as countless injections and other medical procedures. I have 7 children and have brought them all to Dr. Zell for any and all orthopedic needs. Dr. Zell is a highly trained and trustworthy doc whom I literally have entrusted my life with!
