Dr. Whitehouse explained very clearly the pros and cons of going forward with "elective" surgery in a hospital outpatient mode. I will therefore proceed and the surgery and follow-up visit were scheduled right away.

Dr. Whitehouse repaired my hernia and he did a terrific job. I only had mild pain the second day when I need to bend at the waist. No pain the third day and afterwards. The incision is healing extremely well. His office and bedside manner are very comfortable and it is clear he is completely competent. Highly recommended.

Dr. Brian Whitehouse removed my appendix and I could not be more pleased with his expertise. His was extremely thorough in his explanation of the procedure and did not release me from the hospital without checking on me and personally giving me after care instructions. I would recommend Dr. Whitehouse without reservation. He is amazing!

My primary care physician told me I had a hernia and that I needed to meet with surgeon. Dr. Whitehouse's office fit me in promptly. He has a terrific bedside manner and he took his time in explaining everything I needed to know and was happy to answer all of my questions. He came to the same conclusion another surgeon I met with did, that it's a muscle tear and not a hernia, but Dr. Whitehouse took it a step further and explained what I need to do to ensure quick, proper healing.
