Dr. Brian Tienor, MD

As a first time patient here I was impressed with his familiarity with my eye health history and his willingness to be available for questions and his explanation of his exam . He had an assistant with him who did the real time charting which enabled him to keep his focus and eye contact with me . Informed me on the plan of care and potential treatment as needed. Professional, efficient and cordial.

I've seen this Physician multiple times. I've been diagnosed with multiple conditions that will be a recurring issue. He didn't explain the timeline, healing process, concerns, during any appointment. I honestly had to google each of the issues to understand what the process will be. During my last appointment he was actually actively insulting me to his colleague before entering the room, saying that I was the cause of my issues to his colleague (The walls aren't that thick, have some tact and at least do it out of earshot) and was incredibly patronizing and insulting to me during appointments. He talked about 'continuity of care' and how I needed to be 'responsible' and see the same Doctor. I recently moved to the state, as I explained and he said 'still'. Honestly, it was dehumanizing. I have a debilitating and severely painful chronic condition, he had zero compassion, care or concern and chuckled when I talked about the pain. Please don't go here for care, at minimum avoid him.

Dr. Tienor knows my eyes better than I do. He continues to offer me his knowledge regarding my options moving forward in terms that I can fully understand.

Dr Tienor is a fantastic doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and very adept at communicating with the patient. He is very thorough in all aspects of his field. Considering his high level of care, I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Tienor did such a great job with both my eyes with my cataracts surgery. He was super professional with his advice surgery he performed and it could not have worked out better. What a blessing to be able to see clearly again. Changes my whole outlook. Thanks also to the tremendous team at the surgical center at the Stillwater location. As they were all so nice and professional as well and they really made it a wonderful experience. Thanks to all involved in my 2 surgeries.

Dr Tienor is my new Specialist Eye Dr. I am seeing him now with Associated Eye after a bad experience with St Paul Eye. Dr Tienor made me feel welcome, was very nice, knowledgeable and explained my eye issues. I am extremely happy with Associated Eye clinic, my appointment was on time and I was in and out within an hour.

I visit Dr. Tienor once a year to check how my eyes are doing ! Checking pressure in my eyes and checking on my Glacoma! Dr. Tienor and the staff at Associated Eye are awesome they take such good care of me!
