Dr. Brian Simmons, MD

Spent about 6 minutes with me. Had to ask if I was supposed to keep taking my meds. Very rushed appointment, explained nothing when I saw him in the hospital, my OB was the one who came in after him and told me I was in heart failure and explained it. Acts like patients bother him.

a follow up exam due to hospitalization for double pneumonia,, Dr Simmons called in to evaluate my heart.. He discharged me from hospital, telling me heart good and strong,, a few abnormal beats which i already took medication for,, A follow up visit at his office,, told I had had a heart attack, expect another one soon,, heart too weak to pump blood...This is not what I heard before,, went home,, crying called son,, showing him all my legal documents etc,, Decided to go to my regular physician as he has all the records,, told by Tamburro,, heart tests all normal,,, no heart attack,,, called Simmons,, wanted another appointment to explain why i had been told this... Appt.. Simmons told me I did not understand system,, he has to say I had a heart attack to get the highest reimbursement from Medicare and Med Mutual, when I told him how it affected me,, lied to me,, thinking I would die any minute,, he then told me,,, You were never in my office that day,, never saw any of my staff???

Dr. Simmons is a kind, caring doctor that takes his time to listen to his patients. He goes above and beyond to do what it takes to help his patients.

Horribly rude and condescending.

The worst cardiologist I’ve worked with. Every call out to him regardless of patient problem or time the call is made is met with hostility. Doesn’t care about patients or the nursing staff that cares for HIS patients. Time to retire if everything is a bother and is forcing you to yell and hang up mid sentence on the people that make you look good.

Dr. Simmons is the Rudest Doctor I've ever met, Hospital paged him when I called & said my husband was having some problems Doctor returned call Angry At me & said why did they call me & not your Family Dr, I have better things to do at night then wait for your Call! It wasn't my idea to Paige him it was the hospitals, Needless to say we've found a new Cardiologist! He doesn't seem to care about his patients which is why I thought you became a Dr. He really surprised us with his conduct!
