Dr. Shaw is fantastic
Dr. Shaw was absolutely amazing with our foster baby who has clubbed feet. He was easy to talk to and answered questions about everything we needed to know. His instructions were clear and easy to understand. His casting was done so well that we were able to avoid having the tenotomy that most clubbed foot babies have to correct their feet. He is knowledgeable and polite. He does have a no nonsense attitude and that just makes us prefer him more. I am so happy that we chose him to take care of our orthopedic needs for the baby. I could not be happier.

Do your homework first. Ask questions before your visit to get an idea what will happen before you show up--especially if you received care out-of-state. They will undo most of the work from the previous surgeon for no other reason than to get money out of it. They admitted to us there was no medical reason to remove our son's cast and take new x-rays. We walked away with the impression that this office is just a money-making machine. Very rushed to get you to commit quickly to get to the next patient. While they listened to us, it was apparent they weren't very empathetic to you to slow down and didn't like having to explain themselves. Their excuse was "everyone will pretty much do this." Now you know 1 reason why medical insurance is so expensive!

My 13 year old was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and septic arthritis and Dr. Shaw performed the emergency surgery on his ankle joint. He was thorough in explaining the situation, followed up twice to make sure he was responding and recovering appropriately, and reassured us of his 100% recovery.

My daughter was just diagnosed with Scoliosis today and he really put our mind at ease. He was honest but sincere! He is awesome with kids! He doesn't give surgery as a first option! He is a specialist so you do have to wait a little bit!

I tore my ACL when I was eight years old due to a trampoline. A lot of the other doctors I went to said I was to young to have a sergury on my knee. Dr.Shaw performed a surgery on my knee now I am playing football, basketball, wrestling, high jumping off of the leg I had the operation on, and playing baseball with 0 pain what's so ever! So thank you Doctor Shaw
