Great experience
Dr Shaffer was very pleasant, attentive and informative. He clearly explained my conditions and what my options are for dealing with them, and how dealing with them is in my best interests. Further, he’s completely aware that further proof will be needed by my insurance that the dizziness/instability is not an ear problem before I will be allowed to see a neurologist so we agreed a referral to the balance lab was my best course. It is wonderful to work with a competent and considerate medical professional who wants to make sure one is appropriately cared for in our for-profit health system. I highly recommend Dr Shaffer’s care.

I went to see Dr Shaffer because of my issue of difficulty breathing through my nose for many years. He advised that I had nasal polyps and I went through the surgery to remove them. Three weeks later I feel like the quality of my life has gone way up. I feel that Dr Shaffer is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He seems genuinely concerned, very intelligent, and answered all my questions so thoroughly. It helped to build my trust and relieved my anxiety about the surgery. I look so positively about the whole experience and I now feel like I have an new lease on life.

Dr. Shaffer listened to what I had to say and did some physical examination to better understand what might be the problem. He ordered a CT so he could have complete information. Then he discussed possible explanations and paths depending on the results. It was unhurried and I felt satisfied I was being cared for and not processed.

I found Dr. Shaffer to be extremely attentive to my problem (ringing in the ears). He was patient with all my questions and gave very clear answers. Also, I found that his office actually runs on time unlike a lot of doctors' offices that I visit.

Dr.Brian performed my Deviated nasal septum surgery, he is very nice, smart and knows exactly what he is doing. he listen to all my questions very carefully and addressed all of them, the day of the surgery he talked to me briefly for the last time about what he is going to do and his words were very calming and removed all my concerns/fear. I really recommend him.
