Power trip
Took my daughter to Dr Rodgers to check on a chronic condition she has. We received a two minute lecture on the pronunciation of an infection that our family worked closely with specialists to resolve. When we told him the specialists we worked with pronounced it that way, he told us that we must have misheard them or misunderstood.Dr Rodgers was very condescending in tone and body language. He also lost some credibility when a quick google search showed that we were indeed pronouncing it correctly. We took another daughter here later and received similar treatment when asked what we were doing to help her. We stayed cordial but found a different provider who was able to provide her with great care and treatment. The lack of humility and his seeming need to make sure patients and their caregivers know their place is concerning.

My son was a patient and had cystic fibrosis symptoms. Rodgers told him it couldn't possibly be. 5 years later we find out that he has cystic fibrosis. Meanwhile my son has suffered for the past 5 years because of Rodgers incompetence. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

Caring and concern
Dr Rogers is the only doctor that truly cares and listens to everything you need to say. I was skeptical because I have been taken by other doctors, but not him and I already feel different with this hormone pellets therapy I am doing!!! I recommend him completely!

Listened to my concerns better than any doctor
Dr. Rodgers listened to all my concerns. He followed up with me and said he didn't want to recommend anything beyond what was vital to start with. I have continued to have great experiences each time I see him.

Professional and Empathetic
Dr. Rodgers is very knowledgeable and not only had answers that my previous doctors did not but he understood why they missed information and where they went wrong which was very validating as well. He was honest about what he felt was best and was open to discussing things when I had questions. He assured me that I could reach out with any question I had and he'd guide me through the whole process of getting well and resolving my symptoms. Fully Recommend.

Dr. Rodgers is pleasant but hurried. He was doing a procedure but rushed the anesthesia so when he began I yelled in pain. He apologized and said that rarely happens. When I mentioned to my daughter about that incident she said he did the same thing to her. He is very confident in his abilities - I am not.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rodgers?
Between two offices the practice is confused. I’m upset because I drove to Bountiful from So. Jordan with the wrong paperwork. The paperwork from the one office that sent me was not good enough to see the Dr. So guess what. I’m turned away! Yup a cash patien is turned away because his office sent the wrong paperwork... I don’t recommend anyone go through the hassle! Who needs the stress?

I really like the atmosphere that pervades pervades this office. The employees are some of the best.. They always make me feel good inside and out. Dr. Rodgers has an interesting personality, being quite stern yet very caring. He wants me to be healthy and makes certain that I see the best specialists for particular situations.. I have recommended him to numerous numerous people, many of them I end up seeing in the office.

At first, I was skeptical changing from a MD to a DO, but have since changed my mind. I like the fact that as a DO, Dr. Rodgers finds treatments that work with your body's natural defenses, looks to boost the immune system rather than prescribe pharmaceuticals that are very difficult to pronounce and very expensive. Also, it is very easy to make appointments that work around my crazy schedule. As far as lab work, he offers the Cleveland HeartLab, a scientifically proven testing lab.

It felt as if he did not have the time to answer my questions. At one point he pretty much put off a question, acting as if he'd adress it shortly. Upon asking the question again, I still did not feel like I got an actual answer. After going through all my blood work, and sort of explaining the results to me, I was offered a bunch of supplements. I was relieved, a solution! when they took me next-door to get me these Supplements they were 700$!! Not even covered by insurance!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new DR. I found DR Rogers and called to make sure he was in my network(altius). During the phone call I made a strong point that being in network was my #1 priority. He was in my network. I schedule a physical and go in for my exam. This is where it took a turn for the worse. They did not inform me that the lab they use is out of network. So I got a bill for $270 and they were unwilling to help resolve the situation.
