Dr Long wasn't rushed at all, explained things thoroughly, and was pragmatic with my treatment plan. I would gladly recommend him to other new patients.

NOT YOUR BEST CHOICE
How was referred to Dr Long by my general practitioner in the Vanderbilt Network, after I made my appointment I received a phone call to verify that I could make the payments myself since I was self-pay. When I called back the number that was left I was given another number to call and then bounced over to somebody else so I ended up making three different phone calls to verify that I could make the payments myself since I don't have insurance. A week later in a week before the appointment I received the phone call that my appointment had been canceled because he doesn't accept patients that don't have insurance,. This is clearly a sign that this man is in it for the money and doesn't care anything about his patients whatsoever after reading some other reviews on Google it may have been one of the best things that happened to me and I'm glad that I'm not going to this person for treatment because it seems like he doesn't really care about anyone but himself and his pocketbook :-)

Great Dr ! I have issues with skylines prices but no issue with their great staff.. Except for billing lol. Dr, Long is great doctor with a great future Im sure. Havent been to see him in over a year and I wish my pcp,s were as good.

My first visit with Dr. Long was in the ER at Skyline Hospital. He was the cardiologist on call when I had a heart attack in April 2017. He was thorough and efficient, while at the same time being caring and compassionate. That night he performed an emergency angioplasty with stent placement, and two weeks later placed two more stents in my heart. I was, of course, terrified, but he was able to put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the procedure and expected outcome.

Dr. Brian Long and his team absolutely saved my life after a heart attack I suffered in 2014. Since that episode, Dr. Long has continued to take proactive treatment to avoid other cardiac episodes. Dr. Long always fully explains his treatment recommendations and offers as much time at each visit to make me feel comfortable regarding my cardiac care.

Dr. Long is terrific. He listens to my concerns, takes time for my questions, and is very competent. I am so glad I found him, and will know I am in good hands if I need a procedure. Highly recommend!

Dr. Long is a very good doctor. He listen to any concerns that you may have and if he has concerns that he can not take care of he knows what dr to send you to to get the answer and he does not make you feel nervous about going to another doctor.

I would recommend Dr. Long to any friend or family. He seems to have a heart of gold and tries to put you at ease. He does not rush you through the appointment and tries to answer all your questions and concerns very honestly.

My experience with Dr. Long has been very positive from day one. The first day I met him he was very upbeat and easy to get along with. He is always making sure that I am comfortable and answers my questions and taking my medicines when I should. I feel that I am Blessed to have him as my cardiologist.

I have not personally met Dr. Young, but my son has visited him on several occasions and speaks very highly of Dr. Long. I have talked to his staff over the phone and they have were more responsive, helpful and courteous than encounters with other physician's staff!
