Lack of Hippocratic oath.
The first consultation for pectus excavatum Dr. Jones ordered several test, it took two months to get all the test done at Lutheran General. I scheduled an appointment for test results and to rule out surgery. Nurse comes in, very rude asked if we had any concerns, I explained my concerns, she could have cared less and shrugged them off. Then came Dr. Jones, sat down looked my son in the eyes and said we have nothing to offer you. Dr. Jones we were not looking for you to offer us anything, simply the results to the test you ordered and rule out surgery. Dr. Jones perhaps you have a reason to be arrogant, but do not forget your Hippocratic oath, that includes empathy. I do not recommend this surgeon, look elsewhere, perhaps RUSH hospital. Dr. Jones keep your scheduler and find another nurse, maybe then you wouldn't be so miserable.

Avoid, go elsewhere
Dr. Jones cancelled a surgery last minute after my child tested positive for a rhinovirus. This refusal to continue led to a significant deterioration in their health. They were readmitted to another hospital for help with another provider. The new provider is aghast at what we have been through with Dr. Jones and questions his ethics and capabilities

Pyloric Stenosis Success
Dr. Jones at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge was absolutely phenomenal. Our 6-week-old son recently underwent pyloric stenosis surgery, and Dr. Jones made a very stressful situation much easier to manage. He's an excellent communicator, clearly explaining the procedure and answering all our questions thoroughly. His approachable demeanor put us at ease, and we felt completely confident in his expertise. We're incredibly grateful for the exceptional care Dr. Jones provided to our son.

Dr. Jones performed two abdominal surgeries on my daughter. During the second surgery, it was discovered that the original complication that was believed to be causing her abdominal pain did not exist. Instead of giving up, he investigated further and found the cause. My daughter, who was 9 at the time, has said that if she has to have surgery again that she wants dr. Jones and I agree! His compassion for his patients is amazing.

What an amazing man. My granddaughter had a TEF diagnosed when she was 9 mos old requiring surgery. Dr Jones was the surgeon God blessed us with to do her surgery. She had no complications. Not only did he check on her frequently while she was in the hospital, he called to check on her while he was on vacation. I will be forever be grateful to this man for what he did for my granddaughter. I cannot say enough good things about him. Thank You Dr Jones
