Dr. Johnson seems to be more interested in keeping the assembly line of installing high price lens (10K with insurance) than getting the correct lens in the correct eye. Does not have time to talk to a patient after questionable outcome and seems to want to blame the patient. If I had it to do over I would look for someone else!

Just had second cataract surgery. The staff was fabulous, but Dr. Johnson's bedside manners need a bit of tweeking. Before the second surgery, I was concerned about the previous surgery and how my eye was healing. I was told Dr. Johnson would take a look to make sure everything was healing as it should. He never did. To me it seemed like he was more concerned with the assembly line of patients he had. It was at the end of the day and I'm sure he saw the light at the end of the tunnel and was not concerned with the individual cases.

Clemson Eye, Easley location was where the staff made it possible the very day I called for a eye problem I had. Even though I wasn’t a patient of record, they treated me like one! Every single CE staff was professional, kind and assuring they could help me with my problem, and they did! Dr. Johnson resolved my eye problem in two visits. Thank you, Dr. Johnson and staff

Dr. Johnson seems to be a fine doctor. He is currently in the process of giving me NEW eyes, with cataract surgery! One eye is done, and I love it. (Only wish he could also change my eyes from brown to blue!) Dr. Johnson is friendly and informative and gentle. Thank you!

Dr Johnson was thuroug. Answered all my questions eagerly. Not trying to rush through the appointment. I purchased two pair of Glases from the location as well. $1,800 worth! Stephanie queen was the sales associate. Even though she was new. She made sure she answer all of my questions with kindness and prompt delight. We spent a lot of time going looking at glasses. She wrote down the specs. And quoted a price. I shopped around but chose Clemson eye based on her customer service.
