I’ve never had such poor care from a physician. He literally spent 20 seconds in my room, never asking a single question or doing any type of exam. He simply went off of what I told my nurse. He opened the door and the first thing he said was “You have a migraine.” My head doesn’t even hurt, so I requested he do some type of further testing. Instead he tried to give me a shot of pain medicine and denied anything further. I don’t want paid meds. No physical exam, no asking me questions-NOTHING.

He was very rude to me from the beginning of the visit. I went in to the ER with classic Gall Bladder symptoms. He ran some test and could not figure out what was wrong. I told him I had never hurt like that before and his reply was Now you have Not one bit of sympathy. Acted like he was heavily medicated. And told me he had done all for me that he was required to do. Just basically deal with it. Never use him for a doctor!!!!

Very poor bedside manner. Was very rude and condescending to my father who was taken to the hospital by ambulance because his back went out. We thought he was having a stroke...he couldn't move. He couldn't breathe...could barely speak. Dr. Hughes very loudly and meanly told my father to get to the point....that he wouldn't be admitting him or running tests. All he did was give him a muscle relaxer and sent him home. I would be very hesitant to use MRMC simply for him being there.
