On 1/23/23 I was sent to the emergency room by my oncologist. Dr. Brian Grade met with me and admitted me to the hospital. My Blue Shield PPO insurance paid for every doctor, test, and treatment, and I paid my max out of pocket for 2023 AND 2024. On 11/14/24 I got a bill from Dr. Grade for $1229 because his claim to my insurance was “submitted after the timely filing limit.” He billed my insurance co. almost two years after his service was rendered. Now I am expected to pay $1229 within 10 days of receipt of his 22 months late billing? Why didn’t he just use my excellent health insurance? Did he wait just to get every penny for his service because insurance negotiates lower rates for medical services? Surely his tactics qualify under the No Surprises Act of 2022. I had a medical emergency in January 2023, now Dr. Grade is setting me up for a financial emergency in November 2024.

Dr. Grade - Extremely Caring/A Great Care Provider
Dr. Grade took fantastic care of me in the ER. He was way more than on top of his game. Dr. Grade asked all the important questions, listened carefully, and followed up with me extremely well. As you can tell I was most impressed and wish him the best and thank you for taking great care of me! Jim (James) Huffman

Dr. Grade quickly & accurately diagnosed & found our loved one's "hidden fracture" (not seen on X-rays & CT scan) by persisting & doing an MRI, then referred her for a consult for Sacroplasty treatment, which shortens bedrest time & gets patients walking much sooner! Thank you, Dr. Grade. You are awesome!

Dr. Grade was such a compassionate doctor when I visited the ER unexpectedly. He was professional and actively listened to my symptoms and issues that I was experiencing. He quickly assessed my situation and provided me the proper support before sending me on my way. My family was very impressed with his involvement in explaining the issues to them and keeping them in the loop as well as all of the other staff around him.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Grade?
Dr. Grade was very helpful when I went to the ER for a flare up in my back pain. I have been judged by doctors before as a chronic pain patient but Dr. Grade was an excellent listener and had a genuine interest in helping me. He ran tests and gave me medications other than the usual pain medications to help the pain.
