Physician appears to be receptive to a patient’s concerns but in reality is quite condescending and arrogant. Choose a physician who actually is a specialist in his field and has a good bedside manner.

Dr. Elford did a pretty extensive repair on my nose this morning and I am extremely happy so far with the outcome. I was expecting massive swelling and bruises after the procedure but so far there is nothing! I am already breathing better and think the healing process will happen quickly rather than drag on which is normal for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Elford for anything. Make it a point to drive far if you have to as you will not be disappointed. He is the best ENT in our area, folks!

Dr. Elford did my surgery in November 2017. He removed my entire thyroid, all of the cancer, left my voice in tact and left a small scar. Before I even had the surgery someone randomly told me he was the best and truly he did an excellent job. In contrast, I saw a picture of someone yesterday (2/9/18) who had the same surgery somewhere in Virginia by another surgeon recently. As God is my witness this lady's scar looks like the surgeon tried to remove her entire head.

Waited over an hour for my appointment. The receptionist was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering her when I asked politely how much longer it would be. I found Dr. to be very arrogant and condescending. I will never go back. He kept interrupting me when I was explaining to him my symptoms.

Dr. Elford removed a pleomorphic adenoma from my lower jaw area last year. It was not cancerous and the operation was practically pain free. I received excellent post op care too. He was kind, considerate and had a sense of humor too. I'd recommend Dr. Elford to anyone seeking an ENT.

Good: Nurse at front desk nice. Packet of forms sent in mail before appointment. Bad: Wait time, over an hour past my scheduled appointment. The doctor walked in and called me Sir... did not even look at my chart to see who I was. I was insulted after waiting so long. He belittled my issue and made me feel really stupid for coming in, like I wasted his time. I was sent there by another physician. I did not feel like I could trust his opinion. I will be going to a different doctor going forward.

I saw Dr. Elford in April for a partial thyroidectomy. He took the time to explain the procedure and even made sure to answer my husband and mothers questions. My scar is very minimal and I was back to work in a week. Turns out I have thyroid cancer and Dr. Elford took the time to lay out my options and help me feel comfortable with my treatment decision. I would recommend him to anyone

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Elford. He just performed surgery on my neck to remove a thyroglossal duct cyst. His technique was so good that 7 days after surgery my incision is about 95% healed. Furthermore, he took the time to perform the surgery in a manner that minimized my discomfort afterward. I was really only uncomfortable for two days after surgery. And, he made a minimal incision and closed it beautifully so that there will be very little scarring. Great job!

Dr Elford is a excellent Sergent. Very through and strives to perform pain free operations. He treats patiants as if they were his own family members. I would go back to him if the need presented it's self, and recommend him highly to friends and family.

He was rude and arrogant. He spent very little time answering my questions and said my Primary doctor recommendation for an MRI was rubbish. He rushed in and rushed out. No manners what so ever. I left not knowing what was wrong with my left ear. Will never go back there again.
