Dr. Brian Drage, MD

I went in for a checkup and was brought back to the exam room. A tech came in and collected vitals. I waited for over 30 minutes for the doctor to come into the room, but he never showed. I walked out of the exam room and back to the area where the receptionists sit. The office had gone home and left me sitting in the room! Nobody was left in the area! I'll never go back to this amature hour clinic. What a complete joke! This was at the Highland Family Practice location.

Dr Drage is an old pro and is very good. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Drage was awesome. He was very astute to my health and took the time to provide important information to help me. Also, Dr. Drage was very enthusiastic, listened my concerns and explained everything in detail. I found Dr. Drage to be very bright too. Very much appreciated and have confidence in his analysis.

I have been a patient of Dr. Drage for the last 20 years and have always found him to be highly informed and professional. Six months ago he found a minor reason to suspect that I might have the beginning of serious disease. He suggested that I see a specialist just to be safe. His suspicion was correct. The disease was still in a moderate stage and was easily corrected. In addition to his work, I have also found the staff at Highland Family Practice to be very helpful in solving technical issues that I’ve encountered.

I love Dr. Drage! He is such a good Dr! He knows his stuff! I would highly recommend to anyone to come see him! His wait might be a little longer than normal but it’s because he takes the time to talk to each of his patients!

My family and I were very hopeful we had found our primary physician but were incredibly disappointed and will not be back to this office. The staff was VERY unprofessional and gave us extremely worrisome news over the phone without even knowing what they were saying to us. We were then told by another assistant that the results could have not even been ours. When we became justifiably concerned and asked for an appointment to redo the lab work and get some questions answered, we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience and were actually lectured by the doctor about how the appointment was unnecessary. They did not address their several errors once. We do not agree with the process that Dr. Drage implements as it was very worst-case scenario-focused. Due to the unnecessary fear and stress that was caused, we would not recommend this office at all.

Dr. Drage is a perfect example of why some people are terrified to ask doctors for help. He didn't listen to me, talked over me to suggest ridiculously low calorie diets, treated me like a drug addict, randomly left mid-appt without answering all my questions and then sent me on my way without bothering to tell me he would not be refilling medications that are essential for helping me function in life. Meds that I've been on for over 4 years. I was told my prescriptions would be sent to the pharmacy. I found out later that day from a medical assistant that would not be the case. I've left multiple messages for him that he has yet to respond to. He's spent too much time in the ER. He's forgotten that people don't have to be covered in blood to be in debilitating pain every second of their life. My body already feels like I have been sentenced to life in prison without even being charged with a crime. I didn't need a disrespectful doctor to throw away the key.

Dr. Drage is the best doctor I've ever been too. He listens, he cares, and honestly looks out for my best interests. No other doc has ever made me feel like I mattered, and my needs and concerns were important. I never leave disappointed, I always leave with a better understanding of my health, the treatment plan and options, and confidence in the diagnosis. The other doctors, nurses, PAs, and staff are equally great. I am confident when I need healthcare, that Dr Drage will do right by me.
