Dr DeLay performed a Reverse Shoulder transplant procedure. I am 6 weeks into recovery and the shoulder is healing according to schedule and my range of motion and strength are ahead of schedule. The limitations are normal but I can perform most daily activities that do not require lifting. I am extremely pleased with the results. Pain level throughout the procedure was minimal and is non existent now.

Dr. Delay is a great surgeon, I had him with my knee surgery. The first appointment I had he was over an hour late which is why I gave him 4 stars. This first meeting was pretty ouick because I knew I needed this shoulder surgery. I will continue this review once the surgery is completed on Monday April 22nd.

I had a major rotator cuff repair done by Dr. Delay a year ago and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He has a direct and confident approach and apparently has the skills to do the job. If I needed surgery again he would be my first choice.

My experience with Dr. Delay was excellent. He was thorough when he examined my knees and patiently explained what he thinks is happening. He also took the time to tell me how we will proceed, depending on the results of the diagnostics. He was very encouraging that I will feel better.

Dr. DeLay was very patient in trying to understand my concern with my knee. After some trial and error with mobility testing, he was able to pinpoint the cause and offer available treatment. He has a great bedside manner and sense of humor. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had with a MD.

Dr Delay is amazing. He really listens and repeats what the patient stated to make sure he has interpreted the patients concerns. Dr Delay is very caring, competent , understanding and professional. He is the best orthopedic I have ever doctored with. After many years of failed attempts with my shoulder i am finally done to very little pain and my shoulder is now functional. I am going back to Dr Delay for the other shoulder He is great!!!

Dr Delay is awesome. He understands your injury and approaches it with an honest but yet positive attitude towards fixing it and recovery. He has performed two surgeries on myself (Powerlifting injuries, torn bicep and ruptured tricep) and also my sons in HS Football injuries. Very professional in his delivery, care and consider him a friend as well. He has kept me on my "Strength Journey"..W. Scott Sherrill

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Delay?
Dr. Delay was very friendly, confident, and knowledgeable, but I always felt like he treated me like a car that needed replacement parts. He also failed to inform me of all the possible lasting effects my surgery might have, and I wasn't told about them until a month after the surgery had occurred. There should be full openness *before* a procedure, and doctors need to remember that they are operating on people, not machines.
