I had been fainting for over 7 months. My primary care couldn’t find a problem. There was no heart related issues found during examination. While hospitalize, Dr Cooper was assigned as my Cardiologist. I believe he was a hospitalist at that time. He said he wanted to install a pacemaker but I refused. I fainted again several months later. I agreed to the pacemaker and with a couple of minor adjustments, I haven’t fainted since. It’s been almost a year now. I heard a person say he’s not very personable. Stop being so critical. I don’t want a buddy. I hired him to care for me medically. I don’t agree that he’s not friendly because he is. I do find him to be preoccupied in deep thought trying to provide best care. He not only helped me but my 90+ family member who had been under a cardiologist with over 30 years practicing.

I went to Dr.Cooper, 3 different visits, very, very dissatisfied. NEVER, listened to my heart, one time. O, yes, have had open heart surgery, and have 6 stents. The staff acted as if , everybody was mad at the whole world. The last time, we went, again they acted like they couldn't get us out quick enough, plus the fact he walked in 45 minutes late, from lunch, with about 6 other staff workers, and again, never ask,if we had questions, or anything. My o, saying goes," 3 strikes ,u r out". Never went back. Didn't feel like he deserves another chance with me.

My husband and I both go to Dr. Cooper and we love him. He sits down and really talks to you. He doesn't push you out so he can move on. He explains everything. If you have any questions he takes the time to answer and explain them to you

Lack of care about what he does. I had an ablation with him for a dangerous heart rhythm and it came back and then he said he could not take care of it and then had to send me somewhere else.
