Do not recommend
Is not sympathetic at all. As I JUST found out I had a miscarriage he had no compassion or empathy and wanted to argue with me over a pamphlet that he said he hadn't reviewed in 5 to 10 years so he has no idea what IU Health is handing out to his patients. As a Doctor, he had a chance to make my day better and lift me up but instead, he chose to argue and make it worse. 10/10 don't recommend.

This seems to be rare, but he is a doctor that actually listens to his patients wants and needs. I had been trying to get sterilized since I was 18. I have never wanted children and I still don't. I have told this to 3 other doctors throughout my life--at 18, 21, and 25. All of them told me I didn't know what I would want or my insurance would just say no. First visit with Dr. Cook, he just discussed what would happen and if I wanted that. Y'all I cried when I left that appointment. At 30 years old, my desires were actually taken seriously, and I got sterilized a few weeks later. I thanked that man so many times, but he just said he was doing his job. He didn't understand how much him doing his job meant to me. Thanks Dr. Cook! tl;dr: He will let you have bodily autonomy.

After surgery. Severe pain, less 7 days afterward. Had to admit x2 back to hospital, still issues. Neither time did Dr Cook, have compasdion to come see or assess issues. Do not recommend this doctor.

I thought he was awesome. His bedside manners are great. His physical exams were so gentle and he explains everything as it's happening so that you can be relaxed. He reminds me of my ob/gyn back home that I adored. I highly recommend Dr. Cook.

I think he might have given me a "husband stitch". BEWARE. Everyone should know about husband stitches before going into labor and delivery – I wish I had.
