I have been going to Dr Chimenti for six years. I can trust him and his staff to take care of my medical needs. He is kind, considerate, and compassionate. He is knowledgeable of his profession and approachable. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic professional.

I recently had a total hip replacement. I was well informed by dr. Chimenti and his staff about pre-op and post- op procedures and what will happen during recovery. Dr Chimenti and staff are very kind and do not want the patient to be in pain. I tell you, I felt minimal pain after surgery. Up the same day doing PT and discharged next day. I’m on week three of recovery and I can say that Dr. Chimenti and staff are excellent. No surprises here. I feel great!!

I made an appointment to this office weeks in advance and gave them my insurance info during that phone call. Completed my online info on time. Showed up for my appointment on time and they hadn’t bothered to actually look at my insurance info yet, and decided at that time that I was out of network!!! SAD!!! Makes me believe they are very unorganized and think of me only as a paycheck not a human who really needed their help!!! And they need to dust, the waiting room was filthy and old for as much money as they’re making!!!

My son and I have been patients of Woodlands Sports Medicine for just over 20 years. Dr. Cannon did a surgery on my left knee and Dr. Chimenti surgically fixed my left shoulder rotator cuff and yesterday surgically fixed a cartilage tear in my right knee. Less than 24 hours, very little pain and just finished 20 minutes on my bike. My knee feels great and I intend to be back riding and roping the day after my follow up visit with him next week. Dr. Chimenti also has done 4 knee surgeries on my son, a professional rodeo cowboy, and each surgery got him back to work as quickly as possible!! He has become this active rodeo family’s orthopedic surgeon and we wouldn’t trust our livelihood to anyone else!

I have been going to Dr. Brian Chimenti for over 10 years due to knee issues and getting ready to have a knee replacement. He is the best there is! Yes, at times you may have a long wait but that is usually due to emergencies or surgeries taking longer than expected. Example, in the past my husband had a surgery (non orthopaedic) that was supposed to take 2 hours and due to complications it took 5 1/2 hours. You cannot expect the surgeon to leave the surgery just because you have an appointment with him. After that my husband never complained again when we have had to wait for a doctor. I like Chimenti so much that 5 years ago my mother-in-law needed a knee replacement and she was 85 at that time and she has had no problems whatsoever. I trust Chimenti 100%, he has a great staff and his P.A. Michael is great and they make a great team. I have referred several people to Dr. Chimenti and they all agree that he is a fantastic doctor. I am beyond blessed and pleased with the care I received from Dr, Chimenti. My knee replacement surgery has been a much long awaited relief. In six weeks I am able to move and do things I have not been able to do in 40 years. Would I do it again, YES! Thank you to Dr. Chimenti and all the kids staff in helping me to feel like myself again.

Waited 1.5 hours on first visit and so far an hour today

A friend recommended Dr, Chimenti after her surgery and I will do so to anyone who needs a Total Knee Replacement or other surgery as well. The staff at the hospital, at his office, over the phone have been good to work with. I do recommend pre learning the exercises which will make recovery easier and faster. At 3 months I have full use of my leg, minimal discomfort if I over do exercise, and tingling from nerves healing. I even spent a day shopping in big box stores for a large event with no pain, no limp, and only a little swelling this week; 1 st time in two years I could do this. Dr. Chimenti is a great communicator and even better surgeon.

I feel better 8 weeks out from surgery than I did before the knee replacement. I have more mobility and little discomfort and am walking without any assistance. The office staff, Larissa, Stephanie, Mike and Dr. Chimenti are professional and dedicated to improving the quality of life for their patients. My life has been changed for the better because of my decision to use the expertise of the persons at Woodlands Sports Medicine. Overall I am pleased with my knee replacement. I appreciate all of the effort and time spent by the staff to help me during my recovery. It was a little more difficult in the beginning then I had expected with a calf pain that prevented me from putting my foot down. It delayed my therapy some, but once that eased I was able to move forward. Nikki in therapy was amazing and very helpful in my recovery.
