Life-changing care!!
Dr. Campolattaro literally changed my life. As a child, I was debilitated with a severe case of Duane Syndrome. Thanks to three intensive corrective operations by him, I can now effectively read, learn, and drive without seeing double, experiencing eye strain, or needing extensive accommodations. People who have known me for years have honestly shared that they have never noticed my Duane Syndrome. In addition to my operations, Dr. Campolattaro helped teach me practical skills to avoid my eyes crossing which I still use today. I have not needed to see him for several years thanks to his good work then, but based on how severe my case is and how minimal of an impact it has on me today, I will forever endorse him and feel compelled to write a review. My mom and I call him an angel on earth due to the difference his care has made in our lives. Thank you, Dr. Campolattaro!

Amazing doctor, horrendous staff
Dr Campolattaro is an excellent doctor. He was able to save the vision of our son who would’ve lost sight in 1 eye if we had followed the advice of other ophthalmologists. He has a great bedside manner. He is empathetic, direct and highly knowledgeable. Unfortunately he surrounds himself with rude, disrespectful and incompetent front desk management. They fail to cancel appointments when he is not going to be there and even send confirmation texts to come to appointments that he won’t make. And then have the audacity to seem surprised that you’re unhappy when you show up. They take no accountability for mistakes. We had an emergency visit for a serious eye issue and they completely flaked. Lost a day of work. And a day of kids school. Complete disregard for the health of our child, and to the inconvenience of others. Not even an apology! Unconscionable rudeness. Don’t book if you have an urgent eye issue or are unwilling to risk losing a day of your life!

the Coolest Doctor
We have two boys, ages 9 and 10. Dr. Campolattaro was so down to earth and spoke to the boys in their lingo. They loved every minute of the exam and can’t wait for their visit next year!

Wonderful Doctor & Amazing Surgeon!!
I met with Dr Campolattaro, in his NYC office. He took his time to examine my eyes. He explained in detail what he would be able to do to help me. We made an appointment to do my eye surgery a month later. Surgery was 100% successful!! I 100% recommend Dr Campolattaro.

Be prepared to wait for 90 minutes before he sees you. The office is crowded and the staff are unwelcoming and unhelpful.

Dr. Camp is the best. Is very knowledgable, and has really helped my daughter with her eye care. We have been going to him since my daughter was 3 and she will not let any other doctor touch her eyes because he’s is soo patient with children. Highly recommend him

I am an adult and have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Brian Campolatarro. Not only is he a kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable but he is an amazing eye surgeon. I had 2 eye surgeries by another doctor before consulting with Dr Campolatarro. He put my mind at ease and was positive he could correct the issue. I am very happy to say he did just that. I have never felt rushed and all of my numerous questions and concerns were answered. His office staff are very professional and kind as well. I highly recommend Dr. Campolatarro.

Dr Campolattaro is Amazing, I brought my 5 year old in today and I was highly concerned with her recent vision loss. He gave us his undivided attention, made the visit amazingly fun for our daughter and put us at ease with all of our concerns. He was super professional but also brilliant and personable. I would highly recommend him!

Dr.Camplotarro is the best!! My daughter was born with a cateract in her left eye and after researching we knew he was the one we wanted to trust w/ our child. She has had 4 eye surgeries with him n he is by far the best. She is now 9 and we come from NC just so he can do her yearly checkups. The staff is great. Always fitting me in. Evette is awesome as well. Never once did I have a bad experience in all my years going to him. EXCELLENT!!!

My daughter was diagnosed with the same eye condition as my wife. Dr. Brian has so far done one lens implant which went smoothly and we are getting her second eye done this week. Let's start with the good: Dr. Brian is an amazing doctor. He's warm and friendly and has an incredible bedside manner and takes time to ask questions. The bad: normal wait time is 2-3 hours which frankly is ridiculous. The staff is ATROCIOUS at every office. Rude, incompetent, uncaring and should all be fired.

My 2 kids had appointments for eye control, they were fine but after 2 minutes in the office Dr C. discovered my baby (who didn't have appointment and was there only because I didn't have baby sitter for her) has blurry eye and needs eye patch and glasses. I was impressed and shocked together. He made her all exams and it was confirm. I'm so thankful he discovered her problem now because she has high chance now fix her vision.

My child was prescribed the wrong glasses with the exact opposite problem for over 18 months. We told him that she was having a problem with the glasses that he prescribed but he rushed through the exam and again gave us the wrong prescription. His staff are discourteous and after waiting three hours I had to go to a new eye doctor who immediately recognized the problem. Now her eyes are damaged from being forced to wear the wrong glasses for over a year. His office is run like a factory!

Absolutely amazing surgeon and overall a fantastic person. i had both eyes operated on by Dr.Campolattaro and can't stress enough how easy of a process he made it, and his level of excellence in opthamalogy. (One of the best opthamalogists in NYC) Eye surgery is a freaky thing but his confidence and relaxed demeanor made my worries disappear. 10/10

My son had the beginning of an ulcer of the cornea. Dr Campolattaro was incredible. Made sure we understood the potential seriousness of the situation but gave us all the tools to deal with it. Made himself available if we had any questions and i feel so lucky that my son was under his care. Excellent care. Thank you!
