Best Doctor I’ve ever had
Me and my family have been going to Dr. Brian K Cain since he began practicing medicine. He is the most attentive and compassionate doctor myself, my husband or my children have ever had. My Aunt is a pediatrician, and I took my kids out of her care and put them into his. He has solved many issues for my kids and has recently saved my life with a very rare, very hard to diagnose cancer. He found the tumor, and immediately sent me to Duke University Cancer Center and I’m still here, with a cancer that usually kills in months. I’m at my 2 year mark now. He never rushes patients, asks questions and answers questions patients have. If he doesn’t know the answer, he finds it. He loves his patients and goes to bat for them whenever needed. He is amazing!!!!

Knowledgeable & Compassionate
Dr. Cain was my primary care doctor when I was living in NC and I miss him very much. I have yet to come across another doctor who has the top-level medical skills in addition to sincere care for patients as him. He is extremely easy and comfortable to talk to which is as equally important to me as his expertise.

If Dr. Cain asks you about the weather, don't answer because he will code it and send it to the insurance company as a separate issue outside of your well visit. My well visit ended up with 3 other codes for non-issues and they received a bill from him for it and I had to pay my co-pay of $25, which is not a big deal, but the principle of the matter is a big deal to me. You cannot carry on a conversation with him and expect to not get billed for it.

I'm in my 40's and Dr. Cain is by far the best doctor I have worked with over the years. I manage chronic pain and Type 1 diabetes and he has been exceptional at improving my condition, my ability to manage it on my own, physically and mentally.

Worse doctor I've ever been to. To be nice I'll say I agree with the post of Jan 8th, 2016 expect I don't think he's a nice man. Unless you have very little medical problems, he's NOT the doctor for you. I believe he prefers the pediatrician part of his practice more.

I had a difficult diagnosis due to its rarity. Dr. Cain took the time and would not quit until he found out what was wrong. He followed through with my care until it was resolved. Very kind and quite knowledgeable and I am so thankful for him as my health matters and he made me feel like it mattered to him.

Nice man - I'm sure he knows a lot about medicine but you would never know by the conversations he has with patients. He gives patients no information. We walked out of the office ofted more confused about what was going on then before we entered even after asking a million questions. Then days later recieved phone calls to set up medical tests for things we were never told about and never discussed. Don't go to him if you want to have any knowledge of your own health or health of your children.
