From my first pre-surgical contact with Dr. Aros through surgery and my post surgical appointments, I have been beyond happy with his competence, thoroughness and supportiveness. Received rotator cuff repair and bicep tenodesis surgery. Great experience, I was well prepared for the surgery and supported through my recovery process. Very happy I decided to have the surgery.

I had bone on bone osteoarthritis in both hips in my mid 50's and was in chronic pain. Dr Aros replaced them both, 5 months apart. The procedure was handled professionally and made me very comfortable. The outcome was a 10 or better my hip feels like it was when it was 20 years old. Dr. Aros was highly professional, caring and thorough in his communication through the entire process from pre-op to post-op follow-up. The medical team at Copley is also extraordinarily caring and communicative. The Force program is a great vehicle for physical therapy exercises at home to prepare for surgery and recover afterwards. All my questions submitted through Force email to the nursing team were answered quickly and clearly. I was so impressed with the entire team and the hospital staff that I cancelled a cardiology appointment for A-fib elsewhere that had me waiting 4 months and scheduled with Copley's cardio doctors within 3 weeks. Dr. Aros provided the referral. Getting this kind of care is worth the 45 minute drive.

I saw 4 different surgeons in Vermont regarding my arthritic knees before finding Dr Aros. I highly recommend him. He did partial knee replacements on both my knees, a few years apart. He and his team are extremely thorough and responsive.
