Breast Reconstruction post Masdectomy
As a 61 year old grandmother, I have had a year long journey with this office for breast reconstruction due to a masdectomy. Dr Johnson and his staff treated me with the upmost respect, kept my spirits up and took the time to answer any questions that not only I had; but, my husband 's concerns as well. We were so impressed, I also had Dr Johnson do a 'Mimi' makeover! For anyone, who either needs or is considering plastic surgery, I highly recommend that you schedule a consultation with his office, you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend Dr Bret Johnson for your plastic surgery surgery needs. Dr. Johnson was recommended to me by my breast cancer surgeon for reconstructive surgery. She said he was phenomenal, and she was right. I did not lose so much tissue that I needed implants, but he performed a lift, and did liposuction on stomach to balance out the breasts. On follow up visits, I had a staff member ask if she could bring in some other staff to see my breasts lol. They said they see breasts 20 times per day, and mine were some of the best they had ever seen, even in young patients! (I am 66.) Experiencing the trauma of breast cancer is hard enough. It is important to feel good about your body after such an experience, and Dr. Johnson made sure I was 100% happy with the way I looked. His “bedside manner” is great, and his office staff was great as well. If you need an AWESOME plastic surgeon, I would visit Dr. Johnson. I am sure you will be as impressed as I was, and you will be happy with your results.

MOHS reconstruction Miracle! I was referred to Dr. Bret Johnson the day that I had a large section of facial skin removed during my MOHS surgery to remove squamous cell cancer. I truly expected to have a large scar. Dr. Johnson meticulously & miraculously closed a deep 2? round defect without using a skin flap or a skin graft. I had no pain during the recovery & the scar is not noticeable at all! I am so thankful to my MOHS surgeon Dr. Priya Zeikus & to Dr Bret Johnson. They are the best!

My initial consultation with Dr. Bret Johnson was nothing but positive . I felt he took the time to discuss the pros and cons of my surgery, I was confident and very comfortable in moving forward with my reconstructive surgery. Although the moment I walked into his office, I felt so uncomfortable, there was nothing about his staff that would exude empathy, sympathy, respect, or courtesy. My surgery was scheduled for Friday the September 15th at 11:00 a.m. On the afternoon of September 13th, I have my pre-op appointment. I drove an hour and a half that morning to Dallas only to walk into the surgery center and be told that my surgery was canceled due to the fact they (surgery center) was not in network with my insurance company. This was a day and a half before my surgery!! I had taken off work and tried to prepare myself for my surgery and recovery. I was infuriated, and the surgery center called Dr Bret Johnsons' office only to encounter someone by the name Ariana? She took absolutely no accountability/ responsibility for anything that had transpired that day and the cancellation of my surgery that I prepared a month and a half for. I told her whoever was responsible for following up had a month and a half to make sure that a surgery center they were sending me to for my surgery was within my network. I absolutely can not believe what was taking place at this point. Ariana took no responsibility and told me she was the one responsible for making the arrangements for my surgery, and blamed it on my insurance company. Ariana hung up on me that afternoon as I am utterly speechless about the treatment coming from Dr Johnson's office.!! A DAY AND 1/2 BEFORE MY breast reconstruction surgery!!!! Ariana called me the next day and said she was going to reschedule my surgery for the 27th of September and asked if that was okay with me. I said, "Sure, again, I trusted in Dr. Johnson's ability to perform the reconstruction surgery as he was highly recommended. Ariana said she was going to schedule my surgery for the 27th of September if that was okay, and I never heard another word. On or about October, the 5th I called the office and spoke with Ariana again, who claimed she was the office manager. I asked her why there was never a follow-up on my referral to the surgery center and that they had had a month and a half to secure my appointment. She told me it wasn't her fault, it's was the incompetence of my insurance company. I needed to deal with them. I asked her why my appointment was not set for the 27th, and as a matter of fact, I had not heard anything from Dr Johnson's office . She (Ariana) simply told me she was going to "try" and set my surgery on the 27th of September. No communication, no anything.. And then, she said goodbye Mrs Whatley. Hung up on me once again. I am sure Dr. Johnson is very capable and probably a great surgeon. However, here's downfall is going to be his rude, lying, incompetent staff that can not even follow up on someone's surgery date. And, don't bother calling his office number because nobody ever, ever answers the phone, and when you leave a message, they certainly do not call you back. I can only imagine how much business Dr. Johnson is losing due to his rude and incompetent staff. Dr. Johnson needs to clean the house with caring, competent staff with empathy for the patients who walk through the door seeking reconstructive breast surgery! Words cannot, will not describe the treatment that was bestowed upon me with Dr Johnson's staff. GOD ABSOLUTELY WAS TRYING TO TELL ME SOMETING. 2 FAILED APPOINTMENTS FOR SURGERY ABSOLUTELY DUE TO HIS INCOMPETENT STAFF

Horrible office operations - do not go here
The most offensive and unreliable office staff of any Doctor's office I've been to in 57 years. NO ONE answers the phone, ever. If you happen to eventually get ahold of someone after calling 100 times, and ask for an update or information that give you a serious attitude, really snotty. They do not proactively give you updates, or call back with options once insurance has responded. DO NOT GO HERE.
